Steve Kean banned for 18 months for drink driving..

Was caught after the Blackburn vs Man Utd game at the end of last season. Fergies wine did him in!!

"He said he had invited Ferguson and several members of United staff into his office after the match to congratulate them on winning the league. He then went to a hotel a short drive away from Ewood Park to meet some friends, one of whom bought him a bottle of Budweiser. On both occasions, he said, his glass was left unguarded at times and the drink could have been laced"

Is he accusing Alex Ferguson of spiking his drink?!!?:lol::lol:

De Gea might not be one of those turn-to-shit types of course, but who knows? We only get to find out as games go by. But if he carries on as he has then Utd are defo going to be in trouble this season - probably not enough to drop out of the top four, but more than enough for them to fail to win anything because teams will target that weak spot.

Considering they've won both games where the Keeper has made howlers, it suggests it wont be as big an issue as you make out, considering its highly unlikely he'll balls up like that regularly, considering his supposed pedigree.

Even he converts 3 wins into losses, Utd would still have won the league on last years form (well been level on points, dunno how GD worked out) and I just can't see it happening in the long term.

Worst case scenario is that they lash Kuszcek (sp?) in and they'd still easily have the best side in the league, I'd be far more worried about injuries already occuring to Vidic and Ferdinand if I were a Utd fan, this is far more likely to cost them points in my opinion

It has been funny as f**k to watch though! I loved Tyler's commentary on the weekend

To all Gunners: A big thank you for your unconditional support during the last 8 yrs. Just say that I will always carry you in my heart!

It's clearly the case that young keepers don't tend to live up to the expectations, much more so than with lauded young out-field players. And it's also the case that the best goalies are at their best when aged 30+.

Wonder how much the bookies have slashed the odds on Aguero to be top scorer and City to win the title after that. May have only been Swansea, and may have been a slow first half, but that was emphatic, and sends out a major statement.

Very impressed with Gary Neville, actually. He appears to be very informative and relaxed in front of the cameras. I never thought he'd be any good, but fair play to him.

Neville was trending worldwide on twitter last night. For the wrong reasons. "Citeh looked pedantic out there." etc.

Declared loyalties to one side - he was dogshit. I only really watched the post-game stuff but up at that board he looked a fidgiting, swaying, sweaty mess. Suit looked gash on him aswell. Clearly anyone can feel the nerves but this was just dreadful stuff.

He was unclear and the awkward silence with Mancini had me groaning in pain.

Most people are fairly impressed with him. Its mainly Liverpool fans who have an issue. Red Nev is eroding Liverpools monopoly in media pundits and Liverpool fans obviously hate him anyway.

Its refreshing to have someone on TV who doesn't just sit on the fence like Hanson or Jamie Redknapp. I never watch pre, half time or post match analysis on Sky because its so poor. We need more like Souness, Giles, Dunphy, Brady on TV. Hanson and Shearer on MOTD may as well not be there for the "opinion" they give.

I like really like Lee Dixon though.

    • So we've signed a Horny Czech, and Bruno's turned up the training camp instead of doing Isak's nonsense.   Still not sure I believe Bruno's staying mind, but glad he's not doing the sh*t Arsenal are asking him to do to lower the price. If they want him they can stump up.   My suspicion is that whichever of Madrid/Man City don't start next season with Rodri will go for Bruno, and one of them will come in while Arsenal have f**ked about trying to get him cheap, which while I absolutely want to keep him, would still be good enough bants and a nice middle finger that I wouldn't mind it so much. I just wish we'd report Arsenal for tapping up.   If rumours are to be believed, we're after 2 more defensive signings, and an attacking player, on top of a replacement if Bruno leaves, having already signed a LW, 2 CMs, a GK, and some youth players. Huge churn, but apart from a couple of Bazou Toure's games for Ivory Coast at the world cup, I've not seen any of them play. Over 2 summers we've basically changed our entire team aside from the CBs.
    • I think the level of headliners Bloodstock get is varied    There's been bands who have gone on to play Download in quite a low spot like Meshuggah, Behemoth, Opeth etc.    Then they've had years like 2025 where you can argue that all three headliners are download main stage sub level    Knocked Loose right now i'd argue are 3rd down on main/opus headliner level while EC and FFDP are borderline main stage sub
