Reckon Dizzeeeeee is worth a punt for the Friday. Rolling Stones Saturday and someone unexpected on Sunday. I have actually seen Dizzeeeeee live before in Hyde Park at some shit olympics thing that my parents forced me to go to and he was surprisingly really good. Looked at the crowd and there was young and old people enjoying themselves and the atmosphere was quite nice, he has a lot of hits and can keep the crowd going. Saying that I won't be there if he headlines, but still he'd be a great punt in terms of Glasto headliner.

1) Tour dates make it very possible and very likely.

2) Drummer has let it slip to fans.

3) It's been 6 years since they played, Eavis is a fan of them, would see it as a friendly booking. Plus if he's friends with a band, he's very likely to book them to re-headline may a time (COUGH) muse & coldplay.

Added two more for good measures.

4) New album in june/july (promotion).

5) People have heard information they are playing (other websites have reported it)

Point 5 isn't as strong as the others but it's still a point, they could of just read efestivals.

Mumford are ruled out of Reading and in America the week after V festival.

So it's clearly between Glasto and V for where they'll play. I'd say each week it looks more likely they'll be at Glasto. They might even do both tbh and play below the headliner at Glasto because V will have sold out by the time theyre announced.

after only one Glastonbury for me so far, I'm quite excited at the prospect of the rumoured line ups so far (arctics, mumford, stones, gaga) as a noobie to glasto in 2011 I was camped out at the Pyramid pretty much all weekend and although I really enjoyed the majority of what I saw, did feel I missed out on so much more because I took it as an opportunity to see some "big" acts I would not normally see without spending a fair few quid.

Those rumoured so far, will very easily allow me to explore other stages and hopefully see some classic artists from days gone by that are probably a lot more fun.

I never got the Arctics, all of their songs just sound the same to me in their Sheffield accents (although I did like Don't Sit Down), Mumfords were a novelty act to me that are still managing to kick around, Stones would be a box ticking exercise so would probably stay for 30 mins or so and Gaga is actually the one who probably intrigues me the most, but they'd have to be absolute shite on everywhere else for me to stay for her entire set.

    • The wording on EOTR's IG Story is "Huw has a little secret to share"...
    • exactly. give them mordor slot when I have other alternatives, not Wednesday
    • Absolutely love her record, System. Definitely an album that rewards a bit of commitment.   She's right on my must-see list. Hoping she's in the Walled Garden, as I think her sound might be a bit muddy if she's early-ish in Far Out.   Ben
    • Same here, I kept trying to go on A View From My Seat to see if each block was worth it. So vague!
    • Ok, I’ve had time to process the experience now, so here is my review.   The good Barcelona - what a beautiful place! What lovely people! The city was like another headliner. Stayed in El Poblenou, and the bars, cafes and restaurants were perfect. Avalanches - Absolutely spectacular, euphoric set. Fantastic stage. Possibly enhanced by substances that I timed right, for a change. Added bonus that I don’t really remember the queue. The Cure - I’ve been a fan for 34 years, and never got round to seeing them, so this was a dream come true. The XX - The sound was exceptional. The lights and setlist perfect, giving each member their moment. Was really loud where I was standing (between the front and the sound desk), but i didn’t notice any chatters - even during the quieter moments. Also loved Men I Trust, .bd. , Big Thief, NewDad and Gorillaz. The food within Parc Del Fòrum was also a lot better than I was expecting.   The bad People talking non-stop throughout some of the sets, and shouting to be heard over the music. I had to move 3 times during Wet Leg just to be able to hear the band over the crowd. It’s probably an age thing, but I just don’t understand it. You’ve paid how much to watch these acts, and now you’re standing with your back to the stage, missing the music and ruining the experience for everyone else? Odd behaviour.   The weather apocalypse on Thursday. I genuinely thought I would be able to tough it out. I couldn’t. Left after Geese. The lack of communication from Primavera didn’t help.   Whilst it was lovely to be by the sea, and the sunsets were very pretty, the site is a bit…concrete-y, isn’t it? I kind of longed for some grass and trees. Often found ourselves standing on the steps by the Adidas yard by some bamboo. This was probably a subconscious need for some nature. The fact that some of the nature included cockroaches did not negatively affect the experience.   My daughter, for running away when she saw the drug dogs in the queue on Thursday, meaning that I lost her for the whole evening. She hid her stash under a bench, and it miraculously survived the storms.   Also, can someone explain the point in having a wristband, when you still have to show your ticket every time you enter and leave the site?   Finally, I would like to nominate myself as one of the bad things about this year’s Primabera. I should have done Primavera a lot better. It was my first one, so I’m still learning, but I think I left too early on the Thursday. Left after the Cure on Friday, so I would be full of energy on Saturday, and then barely made it to the end of Gorillaz anyway, meaning I missed Overmono, Skrillex, Skullcrusher, Kneecap, and a few more I would have liked to see.   All in all Amazing lineup. Decent food options. Cupra and Cupra Pulse stages were very impressive. Weather was perfect for 3 out of the 4 days i attended.   It was always likely to be a ‘one and done’ for me, but we had a blast, even if I am starting to get too old for all this.
