I noticed that a few years ago, think it was the bit of Springsteen I saw. Hugely confusing with the crowd singing along and it not being in sync. Since then I've always tried to get down the side, in front of one of the screens and the speaker stacks. I'm not bothered about being in the middle and will sacrifice being able to see a couple of the musicians for decent, quick sound

I only saw a bit, and watched it on the TV after but it did seem that there were plenty of people enjoying themselves. My mates who went weren't fans but they enjoyed it too.

It wasn't Radiohead at Leeds in 2009 or anything.

I wasn't there, but on TV I thought it was excellent (Outlaw Pete aside). The contemporary reviews seem to back up my memories, though with caveats about a setlist lacking a lot of his better-known moments:

I actually really rate him as a writer and critic (his book 33 Revolutions Per Minute is well worth a goosey), but he seems to be more of a dance music and synth-pop sort of guy.

Most likely it's the monsters having fits at the rumours
