I cancelled my ticket last week...Big Big mistake, as i now find out unknown to me some of my friends and family have got tickets and planned to suprise me by just turning up a i was going to start my journey,so at the moment i am kicking my self, plus a bit pissed off in that no one warned me,as i had said i was thinking of cancelling. I still have not had a refund from See,and did speak with someone yesterday,to see if i could cancel the cancellation, there not to hopefull, but you never no as looking at my status on See it still says i have a ticket. I possibly have the opportunity of a free hospitality ticket, but thats not 100% certain,i was offered one last year but only a couple of days before the festival, and gave it to a neighbour.

Good luck. I have tried to organise this years Glasto down to the minutest detail to make sure the people who wanted to go were going to be there. Too much effort & will not be doing it again as I'm sure everyone will want to go again in 2013.

I'm sure they can surprise you in some other way. You've decided Glastonbury is finished for you, should this really change your decision on that? You'll be able to convince them that they'll have a good time without you.

You could always claim you have been the victim of a malicious prank, and that it wasn't really you that cancelled the ticket. e.g. say your ex-girlfriend went crazy and used your details to do it without your permission :P

There's another thread where Denwyn said he may cancel his ticket. Cue lots of "come on just go" type of posts and a few negative ones.

Feel for him after reading this but also had to laugh at someone saying "you again!"

I agree that if you've been telling them you may cancel at least one person should have broken rank and said they were going, just to get you to go!

    • Generally shorter too, I imagine. 🙂
    • Will that work for arenas with seats? People will have their tickets on their phones and needs to find their seat.
    • Excellent new release from overpass today - well worth checking out.
    • Having lived here for 2 and a half years now my take is that security, safety and organisation are just not a priority in Spain. It's not even exclusive to festivals. It's a part of everything.   Simple example. I'm Irish and in Ireland if you assemble a construction site you have to adhere to a lot of regulations about cordoning off the site so nobody can enter and get injured. Here, you're walking down the foot path and suddenly without any warning you're in a construction site. If not, you'll suddenly find yourself directed onto the road to get around the construction.   Life is more laid back here in general. Pros and cons.
