IMO the poor sales were down to a weak line up in general, not the fact they had '2 weak co-headliners' The majority of lineups over the last 10 years probably have what was deemed to be a weak headliner when the line up was announced, and tickets usually sell pretty quickly.

I always put the poor sales last year (and in 2010) down to the fact that going to Reading and Leeds isn't the "in thing" any more.

Remember that 2007 and 2009 had poor line-ups as well, but they sold out in no time because at the time it was fashionable to go.

MB said stuff like, "oh last year, the reason for slow sales was because of the recession". NO. The reason for the slow sales was because it was a shite line up. Hopefully this year it will be a lot better :)

sales are slowing down all round. The recession isn't an irrelevant factor, tho it may not be as big a factor as Melvin was claiming.
