Well your clearly an ignorant fanboy who doesn't actually know anything, more people would make a fuss about bloc party than either of those 2! bloc party have done nothing of importance since they last subbed and the reformation factor is certainly not enough to push them to headline - loads of bands take 2 years off without breaking up, does that mean they can be pushed up slots on festivals?!

Yes, Bloc Party could easily headline, we know MB likes them, and they ARE a hit with the R&L crowd. People on this forum shit themselves over Mumford And Sons because they're shit (and they really are incredibly shit), but they're a massive draw for the R&L crowd, this message board is not really an indicator of the R&L demographic.

Lastly, I demand that The Cure headline! If they don't then I'll just turn up at the Main Stage, pissed as a fart and just sing Cure songs until somebody kicks my head in.

    • Audrey Hobert getting a lot of traction lately and new single on Friday. Wonder if she could be round next summer.
    • Think Pulp are optimistic, not in terms of size but just that they've been on the road (albeit not intensively) for 3 years in a row and it feels like EotR is the deliberate end of the cycle.   Would be fairly surprised if they're active next year.
    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
