Looks relatively alright, apart from Sunday, which seems really mixed up. Rammstein would headline, Stereophonics wouldn't play in a line-up like that, same with The Courteeners. Considering Blink will be on tour at that time, I don't think A&A will play. I'm not confident both System and Foo's would headline, and I highly doubt Mumford will be up against Bloc Party or Foos. If it does end up being Bloc Party, Foo's and Kasabian, and Mumford did headline NME, I think they'd have to be against Kasabian for the least overlap in crowd.

I'm not sure if Rammstein would headline R&L though, more likely for Download or Soni, i could see them getting quite a decent crowd at R&L though so thats why i reckon they would sub. AVA have a new album out in the spring, but Blink are touring which is a good point, im going to that so i should have thought a bit more :P Why do you not think System and Foo's would both play? Just out of curiosity :)

I don't doubt System at all, I just don't think that Rammstein fit Reading as well as Strokes, Arcade Fire etc. It's only an opinion though so we will have to wait and see :) What do you think of Paramore subbing again? Too soon? New album out in 2012 so i could see them maybe making an appearance. I'd absoloutely love for Jay-Z & Kanye to headline, but i just cant see it at R&L, more likely for T i think :/

Fair enough. I don't really get all the hate for Kanye, yeah, he might be a giant tool with his head ridiculously far up his own backside, but he makes great music. And with Watch The Throne being put out, I can't see them playing seperately when booking them both would a massive coup. That's just my opinion anyway.

Also, Aerosmith are releasing a new album in 2012, so do you think they have any chance of being booked? They did a great show at Download and i reckon they would be seen as a huge booking :)

Swap Noel and Vampire Weekend with Chase & Status and Magnetic man, take out Rammstein and put Biffy in there, put The Darkness where Stereophonics are, take out The Enemy, move Bloc Party and Kaisers down one and put Kasabian at the top of the bill, and swap the days around - Foos Friday, Kasabian Saturday, SOAD Sunday - and you could be onto a winner!

I reckon Radiohead will headline TITP. They always do a UK Fest every three years

2003 - Glasto

2006 - V

2009 - Reading/Leeds

And the only realistic one left (apart from IOW) is TITP, would be pretty cool having Arcade Fire sub to them as well. :)

Not sure about Arcade Fire at V though, doesn't seem like their crowd, I doubt many of the teenyboppers will have heard of them, remember when they played the Brit Awards? :P

I agree with the comments of bands playing a greatest hits set at a festival though I would take Smashing Pumpkins over Iron Maiden any time, I enjoyed the Pumpkins set at Leeds in 2007 but was really disappointed with Maiden at Sonishpere in 2010 who played around an hour of new material and 30 mins of classics, I really hope they don't end up at Leeds in 2012, give me Rammstein Pearl Jam or Smashing Pumkins instead along with the likely Foos and Kasabian or Killers on the shindie day.

My guess at next years headliners:

V- Lady GaGa, Arcade Fire.

R&L- Bloc Party, Foo Fighters, System of a Down.

TITP- RHCP, Jay-z & Kanye, Green Day.

Download- Van Halen, Rammstein, Paramore.

Soni- Tool, Black Sabbath, Soundgarden.

IOW- Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, Aerosmith.

If Pheonix is going to be as big as it is sounding, then i think: Radiohead, The Strokes, The Killers, Jay-Z & Kanye.

And what the hell, Glastonbury 2013 :P: Radiohead, David Bowie, Led Zepplin.

They'd headline, after the likes of Arcade Fire, Strokes, MCR headlining and people talking up Biffy as headliners why are people doubting Rammstein (and System for that matter) as headliners. Their tours sell very well, not over exposed in the UK festival circuit, they'd only accept a headline slot and more importantly it would waste their stage show if they started in daylight.

As to Radiohead for T.

Biffy, Lady Gaga, Radiohead sounds a good shout to me.

Not sure who under Biffy, Snow Patrol maybe under GaGa and Arcade Fire as said under Radiohead.

Daft Punk for NME headliner

Could be RHCP but I just have a feeling it won't be.

    • So we've signed a Horny Czech, and Bruno's turned up the training camp instead of doing Isak's nonsense.   Still not sure I believe Bruno's staying mind, but glad he's not doing the sh*t Arsenal are asking him to do to lower the price. If they want him they can stump up.   My suspicion is that whichever of Madrid/Man City don't start next season with Rodri will go for Bruno, and one of them will come in while Arsenal have f**ked about trying to get him cheap, which while I absolutely want to keep him, would still be good enough bants and a nice middle finger that I wouldn't mind it so much. I just wish we'd report Arsenal for tapping up.   If rumours are to be believed, we're after 2 more defensive signings, and an attacking player, on top of a replacement if Bruno leaves, having already signed a LW, 2 CMs, a GK, and some youth players. Huge churn, but apart from a couple of Bazou Toure's games for Ivory Coast at the world cup, I've not seen any of them play. Over 2 summers we've basically changed our entire team aside from the CBs.
    • I think the level of headliners Bloodstock get is varied    There's been bands who have gone on to play Download in quite a low spot like Meshuggah, Behemoth, Opeth etc.    Then they've had years like 2025 where you can argue that all three headliners are download main stage sub level    Knocked Loose right now i'd argue are 3rd down on main/opus headliner level while EC and FFDP are borderline main stage sub
