But I wouldn't say Kasabian in 2010 were any more bigger than Biffy are now. They both supported at Stadiums around the Uk, both sold out an arena tour so Biffy aren't weak at all in comparison to Kasabian.

Hart Attack - Theres a lot of acts there playing lower slots than they did this year - and aye, Odd Future have no chance of headlining the FR stage - same goes for Justice and the Dance Stage.

I could easily see biffy headlining, they tick all the right boxes in terms of genre, radio airplay and arena tours. Its probable that a few years ago a band that size wouldnt have been considered headliner worthy but as I have said previously the last decade hasnt produced many big bands in the indie/rock genre so there are a lot less options. I think 10 years ago the likes of blink 182, arcade fire, mcr etc wouldnt have got the oppurtunity to headline but times have changed.

IMO i think biffy would be decent headliners. they have a large fanbase which is quite varied (playing glasto and sonisphere) and seen as leeds/reading like to get new headliners... could be in with a shout!

wouldn't count on Metallica being there next year, as they have been following a 5 year cycle - last played in 2008 so possibly look at them for 2013

Yeah I doubt they'll play but I couldn't think of another realistic metal act capable of headlining

Iron Maiden, Slipknot, System Of A Down, Rammstein, Linkin Park etc even then it still doesn't need to be a metal band.

Doubt Maiden would headline again, Slipknot I thought would sub at R+L, Rammstein will probs be at download and Linkin Park I don't like but yeah, i guess all of these would be possible to some degree. Can't think of many more heavy headliners unless you push QOTSA up or someone similar

Speaking of novelty bands what are Flights Of The Concord upto? I remember they played Wembley Arena a year or 2 ago and I could seen them playing and going down well on the festival circuit.
