Does anyone know what these Teepee's are like http://www.amazon.co.uk/Vango-Juno-500-Man-Tent/dp/B0045Y0QPQ/ref=sr_1_27?s=sports&ie=UTF8&qid=1299678090&sr=1-27 ?? I quite fancy the Idea of being able to stand up before venturing out in the mornings! My old knees made a graceful exit out of my tent last year almost impossible!!

From what I've seen of these teepee tents they always look saggy and collapsed by the end of the festival. Not sure if this is because all the guy ropes have been tripped over and pulled out or what. But you can get standard dome tents that are plenty tall enough to stand in.

Out tent broke beyond repair last year (nothing to do with me allegedly falling straight through it head first on the 1st night back to the tent <_< ). Anyway on the Sunday afternoon when everyone left we stayed to avoid the traffic and 'recycled' this tent which was left behind - http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_745505_langId_-1_categoryId_236906

We've used it since and it's plenty tall enough to stand up in the middle section. Even the bedroom sections are tall enough to just stoop.

I bought one of these today:

£32 for a tent that is usually 3 times the price! Bargain. I already own one and it has done many festivals, however last year my daughter and I decorated it to look like a tortoise, so I decided that for £32 I would buy a replacement 'sans tortoise'

These are great tents, took some heavy rain on Thurs/Fri at glasto 2009, no worries.

3 things that i shall NOT be forgetting this year..

1. Airbed, i just cant cut sleeping on the ground anymore.

2. Torch, I didn't take any sort of in-tent lighting, and it drove me mad trying to find things at night.

3. Space Blanket, to prevent 8 am boil in the bag wake-ups.

Also if you freeze some beers and put them under your ground sheet wrapped in a space blanket, they WILL stay cool for the whole weekend. But this does mean you will have to take an airbed to prevent a sore back.
