The Other Stage headliners

Most punters probably couldn't name more than a couple of tracks from the Chemical Brothers, Faithless, Orbital or Basement Jaxx. But once they hear them they will probably know or at least like!

To a lot of people they like seeing dance acts because its easy to get into. Especially if dabbling in disco biscuits, which of course is illegal kids.

Well, I can only go from experience, and the time I saw them it was essentially watching two men play their CD at you, except for when they dropped in Atlantis. But on the whole it left me distinctly underwhelmed.

I'd love to see Justice at Glasto, their live sets are fantastic, you just have to listen to the live album to realise that. sadly i don't think they're doing much this summer due to recording a new album.

Why would I need to listen to the live album? Surely seeing them live would be the best way of realising that?

I agree with your suggestion. I was thinking the same when I heard the news about The Libs probably not playing now.

But would prefer Pulp headlining Other Stage on the Sunday.

Yeah, the USB cable had just come out the back of the MPC controller, it's quite conceivable that this could happen and not be realised immediately, especially if the monitoring was poor. It's a bit like taking a photo of a guitarist on stage when the cables been accidentally pulled out of his electric guitar and using it as evidence that he's miming.

Im still optimstic about the libertines, they dismissed reunion reports before being announced for r+l last year and titp and v festival are both missing a sub headliner. Think theyre all holding out for them

Another year for the smaller venues for me then. That worked out great last year.

Might see Primal Scream on Friday night but have no interest in any of the Pyramid Stage headliners nor seeing The Chemical Brothers on a large stage.

I'll definately be going to see Primal Scream, maybe The Chemical brothers but I'll already be seeing them at Rockness a few weeks earlier so i'm not fussed.
