I saw her at glasto (don't ask..!)

she does that screechy thing as good as anyone  ... certainly better than Florence... :D

Nothing to be ashamed of. Certainly a flawed genius, but genius non the less. Remember that there were plenty of people down on Dylan when he went electric or when Beyonce left Destiny's Child, look at what happened next. Jessie will be still around, health willing, in 30 years time, writing tunes to stir the soul again. The doubters have their role, but the zealouts are right this time. "Don't lose who you are, in the blur of the stars! Seeing is deceiving, dreaming is believing,It's okay not to be okay."

Westlife have managed half that time so you could well be right. There's no end to dross it seems.

I thought there was a filter to stop these kind of posts getting published. Music for 14 year old girls

she looks like a 35 year old kings cross prostitute. I was staggered when I read she was 23 or whatever.

I'd still get on her dont get me wrong, but I prefer my shit pop acts to have a bit more of a young nubile airhead look about them. The saturdays fit the bill perfectly.

Hopefully the record companies take this into consideration when they wheel out 2012s "next big thing".

The thing is this, no Jessie isn't always pitch perfect, few great vocalists are, what you get with this girl is a beautiful, bright, innocent soul that shines gloriously through that larynx, she writes these songs and sings them from the heart. At one time I would have felt the same as you all about this sort of thing. Now I am more enlightened.

"when you hold me, and you tell me, that you missed me, and call me milky, fuck it, Imma write a song about love"

She writes lyrics that Rastamouse would be ashamed of. Praise that if you like that.

While I am aware of his existence, I have no real experience of this Rastamouse either. Cultural references from kid's TV aside, If he is penning better songs than Jessie I will make note to look him up. :agree:

Rastamouse makes a bad ting good.

Jessie J only makes a bad ting, everytime she opens her mouth to sing.

They both entertain audiences of about the same age.

    • It can take around 30-45 mins to walk from the arena back to the transport hub with the crowds, depending on density. Allow even longer in poor conditions. I don't think you'd need to leave Linkin Park early though, you have at least an hour and 20 minutes to walk to transportation. I certainly wouldn't leave early in your shoes, knowing I can just walk to the airport if needs be (2 mile walk and another 30 - 45 min walk depending on your walking speed and conditions.) Maybe just don't linger too long for the toilet / food after Linkin Park have finished.  It will definitely make sense and all just fall into place on the night, don't worry too much and have a great time. The very worst that can happen is a little extra walking to the Airport Skylink bus stop, as those Skylink busses are 100% 24 hour. 🙂  GFS, ICON and ECMWF are ALL in agreement on the latest runs.... After a mildly moist Weds and Thurs, high Pressure building from Friday... Lets just hope they continue to agree... ☀️☀️☀️
