That's silly. Nobody's going to go and listen to an entire album by EVERY band to see if they're any good. Singles are the songs the band have chosen that they think are the best, generally.

I know for certain there was no truth in the TT rumour at the time it was going around (around the time that their tour was announced).

I doubt there'll be anything to it from anything that might happen since then and before next June, but I can't state that with any certainty - I know there's interest in doing Glasto from some of TT, so if they were offered a suitable slot it might happen.

Come on, who won't be singing along? I think a second headline slot with a massive sing along (think Scissor Sisters) would be awesome. As long as they perform the slot in the right way, i.e a party and a warm up for the headliner (as Dizzee and SS did so well this year, I didn't see Faithless) .. it will be great. If they think they are bigger than the slot and are idiots.. not so great.

Im not convinced they could headline. Unless the alternative is Kasabian/Kings of Leon. Then sure, make it Take That.

Surely singles there to entice to go and buy the album and explore the rest of their work? Singles are meant to be the best songs from the album to get to go buy it.
