Hmm i'm a little disapointed with the layout this year. I wasa big fan of Classic rock sunday to be honest. But im well aware they were running out of bands for it.

I wont be happy if Soundgarden get announced at all.

This year seems to have a lot of smaller bands that i'd go watch but nothing is yelling "buy a £200 ticket" to me yet.

I can see Hollywood undead playing same stage as pendulum and korn

Probably GWAR down with Danzig too.

If the 3rd stage on Friday ends up being punky and gets social distortion then i'm there!

What's the source for that ordering?

Neil's got Korn and Danzig on the Saturday, with them and A7X, Alter Bridge and the Cult on unknown stages.

And is there any proof that Soundgarden would be the headliner? Strong Rumour now, but might they be second? It'd be travesty IMO, but possible surely?

The source was as I put down with the post, AC - Andy Copping, the booker of Download, from Twitter, efests has updated now, Im guessing Scottie did it today. He tends to read the forums and pick up on things whereas I don't think Neil bothers with it so much.

They haven't added Frank Turner to the line up though, even though he self confirmed and I posted it in its own thread AND provided a link! What more do they want? Blood! Ha ha

Urgh. General no thanks, and Velvet Revolver specific no thanks. Excellent shout on Europe though, with their tour I think they're very likely to play, and that slot looks about right as well.

Look quite reasonable, apart from Stone Sour. Just.... No thanks.

Escape the Fate are playing mainstage

Escape The Fate - ''UK! Yes the rumors are true. Escape The Fate will be rocking mainstage Download 2011!!''

Was on their facebook and twitter, doesn't say what day but i'm guessing Sunday as they were going to support Bullet on tour, just a guess that tho

    • Was volunteering at the Women’s Cricket World Cup at Southampton yesterday. Was great fun.
    • Definitely see this as being 'weak' on paper but could see a few bumps up from previous sets at Download (Don Broco, Neck Deep etc).
    • Very different in terms of time of game,  yet remember how excited I was before the first game in Euro 2016 having grown up not sure I would ever see wales in an international tournament. That day scraped a win against Slovakia and was just happy to see wales score and win at a tournament, little did I know we would finish in the top 4. Hope Scottish fans get the same experience.
