If it was Foo Fighters, why wait?

Already announced two Milton Keynes dates, Isle of Wight, T in the Park, Oxegen, why would Download be waiting months to announce them as well, everyone would just be like yeah and...

and Foos are playing Greenfield festival on Thursday 9th June

So thats a fest on the Thurs, Fri and Sat, they surely won't do Download on the Sunday as well, 4 fests in 4 days.

I still think its Red hot Chili Peppers, makes sense to have them up on main against Rob Zombie on second.

I do agree with most of the above,I think it will be RHCP.

That leaves only Reading/Leeds i think they headlined them the last time out on the road

Download or T in the park i dont think it will be t in the park as they try to get a mix of music types and not 2 rock bands as headliners (only bands so far for t in th p are Foo Fighter and Blink 182.

To many rumours going about just tell us who it is AC then we can start to guess the support acts.lol

I can't see RHCP doing it personally. I would have really thought they were more the Reading/Leeds kinda vibe. I did see them about 6 or 7 times in the early 90's and they were awesome but now.....hmmmm

Marilyn Manson has a new album out this year on his new label Hell, etc. Andy Copping has said more than once he would book him again. Could end up at Soni or Reading instead, but worth putting as a rumour do you think?

Theres something somewhere else where he says he would book them as Subheadlner, but can't find it, but as you can see he pretty much says that above 75-90 minute set but not as headliner

I would be happy with that tbh!! Just COB as Second stage headliner no thanks as I would like to see them

Seems like a solid and realistic line-up to me

Maybe swap Alice Cooper and Children of Bodom round, and put Skunk Anansie below Limp Bizkit

Would be gutted at a RHCP clash with Rob Zombie though, I know RHCP aren't meant to be great live but I'm really interested to see how they are after a 4 year hiatus and new guitarist, but then it's Rob Zombie!

Other than that I'd be a happy boy

Alter Bridge confirmed today doing Early summer European festivals, then back to the US for another tour throughout August-October, then an arena tour throughout Europe late in the year

I'd expect AlterBridge will be announced in the next announcement
