I asked them how sure are you of this percentage wise and is it Tool with Soundgarden subbing and they replied

''No comment (60%)''

EDIT - Thats Thrash Hits by the way who broke this tonight.

They were right about the Thrash 4 at Soni, and a lot else, but they've also been wrong as well. The right outweighs the wrong however

Ive been trying to look into some acts who could be the last headline act for the main stage and found out some shit

You probably know most of this but here goes..

OZZY is free for Friday 10th he has gigs on the 9th in finland and 11th sweeden with a good break before and after these dates for a rest ??

Foo Fighters are free on the 10th and have gis on 9th switzerland and 11th isle of wight (close by)

Bon Jovi are a no go as they play Dresden on Friday 10th

I can find any tour dates or news at all for Soungarden but this could be a one off show ?

And also Velet Revolver look as if they have their new singer in Corey Taylor and im sure i read a while ago somewhere that he loves Download more than any other festival

so i wonder ???

every year i hold out for download to book weezer and it never comes through.

copping will gladly go 'out there' and book random acts to make it more diverse but seems he wont boom staple non-metal bands that people would actually want to watch.

more or less every year im left looking at the radio 1 lock up stage at leeds/reading and thinking....why cant they play Download? i dont want to go to leeds, i especially dont want to buy a day ticket for a few bands.

Its just a shame that he seems to pay very little attention to 'punky' bands.

i know not everyone is into that kind of thing, but a bit of fun in the sun couldn't hurt riiiight?
