If anyone doesn't regularly check, I added Puddle of Mudd yesterday as word of mouth self confirmation, big talk of it on download boards, POM's own site says UK its looking good or something to that effect, but someone ITK has heard they're playing for sure

And tonight Ive added Feed The Rhino, who also via download boards comes as a word of mouth self confirmation at a gig, apparently doing Soni too. I've had a listen, pretty good, much like Gallows style, if you like them you'll like FTR also in fact heres a video

muddle of pud are f**kin shite. I saw em support koRn twice on the untouchables tour, and they blew donkey balls both times. yeah blurry is Ok, and a singalong would be quite nice, but playing it over the PA would have the same effect.

f**k puddle of mud

My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way has said that the band will headline a UK festival this summer.

During their show at London’s Wembley Arena on Saturday (February 12), the singer announced from the stage that the band would be back to headline one of this year's outdoor events, although he did not say which one.

The Reading and Leeds Festivals look a likely option. Organiser Melvin Benn said that the event's three as-yet unannounced headliners won't be headlining festivals elsewhere in the country this year.

There is still one headliner to be announced for the Download Festival. However, a slot there would be a surprise to some, as the band were not warmly received when they in 2007. Chiefs for the Donington event are due to announce 19 more bands for its line-up on February 23.

The first line-up announcements for Reading and Leeds Festivals are due in March.

Im doing a happy dance here. I love Limp Bizkit. The fact they are subbing to Slipknot makes me a happy girl. I'm going to be frankly unbearably excitable that day, I feel so bad for my friends!!!

Someone explain where this Def Leppard rumour came from. I think it has to be pants.

    • TOP 10 acts (top 5 in bold😞   Blood Orange (ciutat)   Guitarricadelafuente   Oklou - Looks like I'm capable of enjoying music in the rain after all, just not the whole night.   Rilo Kiley   The Cure   Jade   Depresión Sonora   Gelli Haha (Parc del Forum) - Her music never really clicked with me. Until I saw her live.   MARINA   Six Sex (ciutat) - I was shocked how supersmall the venue was and that almost everyone (except for me) knew every word of every song (including the ones that were released this weekend!).   Honorable mention:   Ashnikko - missed the first 15 minutes (because of Gelli Haha) and I'm not really a fan of her music, but the show was an absolute blast.
    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
