Any bands you regret seeing?

The chuffing Prodigy. Should have gone to see Blur instead. They were incredibly bad. "Come on my Glastonbury warriors!"- Yeah alright, we get it. We're you're Glastonbury warriors. You don't need to tell us over and over and over and over again.

Cos thats what you look for when you see a band? to get knocked 7 shades of shit out of?

The only regret I have is MGMT, was shit at heaven, was worse at glastonbury plus all the lil typical oh so original indie girls were there which they always annoy (Which is shit cos I quite like Indie Pop that yall hate :P but i hate the crowds it attracts :P)

And oh Gorillaz, should gone for Flaming Lips or The XX

Got no regrets going to see Prodigy in '09 either. I had a great time. I still watch the bbc coverage of that gig every now and then.

Yes, all the 'my glastonbury warriors' bit was lame, but the music, the delivery, the energy and the sound were bang on. I do not regret avoiding blur.

I randomly happened to be at kate nash this year *ahem* and it was a joyous clusterf*** failure on an epic scale, with a crowd bored with new stuff, coming alive for the few hits they knew and watching her progressively degrade in the heat. Perfect moment was that her black lipstick smudged more and more through the show leaving her with a hitler tache at the end :D She looked like she was going to pass out at one point and occasionally took to barracking the audience for not having fun :)

My biggest regret is between Metallica (reading '08), The Killers (same) and Kasabian (glasto '09) which were soulless, dull and delivered all the excitement of kissing my nan. To put into context how bad the 3 above named gigs were: I have seen paul weller live. They were worse.

Prodigy 09. Biggest regret of my entire 11 attendances Glasto career. Inaudible and totally shite. But I honestly did not have one clue or idea or any knowledge that the Blur gig was a one off. Still cannot or will not ever be able to bring myself to watch any footage from Damon and the gang that year. Gutted even to this day is an understatement.

Not sure if it counts, but I most regret going to the footie instead of watching Ray Davies and Slash last year. Also wish I'd watched all of Muse instead of going or a meander and trying to beat the rush for the Arcadia show (which ended up being cancelled due to a power cut)

I think I regret leaving the Radiohalf set this year to see Hot Chip. But I did have a great dance and they were probably the most fun band of the weekend, so I'm not too upset.

If a band's poor I leave, don't get why so many people stayed through bands they weren't enjoying?

Only ones i regret was actually at Glasto this year.. oh and maybe some at V too..

To get a decent speck for We Are Scientists I had to sit through.. the soul destroying Grizzly bear, they didn't manage one frigging word during their 35 minute set and just went oohhhahhhohhh.. to be honest if it was 3am, and i was tucked up in bed, they'd be perfect cause you could see people just dropping down to the ground, and falling asleep after like 5 minutes! Seriously a terrible band!

Norah Jones, wasn't a big fan anyway, didn't fancy going to see her, but Dying to see Slash, her set bored the living daylight outta me, but led on to slash which was f**king incredible, so can't complain!

Temper Trap at V, were very very Dull.

Doves, I love the doves, so frigging much i put them on the line for Kasabian, and they were bollocks, seriously lacklustre, no crowd presence, no nada, just a load of crap!

i've seen the courteeners twice. Were very good at Reading '09, were ok at Brixton but were bloody dreadful at Glastonbury. Seriously bad. I've seen them 3 times and once was out of choice (wierdly the time that was the best). But yeah girlfriend is a big fan.
