It's based on the many things said by AF in the last few days, that have both been broadcast directly or talked about indirectly.

It's 100% clear they're not headlining, but it does sound as tho they're going to be playing.

Have you heard anything in addition to the Zane Lowe interview? My interpretation of Win's response was that they were unlikely to play but I may be hopelessly wrong on that. I sincerely hope so.

If you listen to the music news pieces on Radio 6 they have an interview with AF - AF say they love Glastonbury, but they feel that they're not big enough to headline this year.

Assuming they did play but didn't headline that gives me a lot of hope for the strength of the headliners, perhaps they really do have the three biggest in the world...

please please please!! really think glasto and indeed arcade fire would be missing the boat if they dont play..

glasto would be booking one of the best bands in the world at the top of their game and arcade fire would have the maximum exposure to document and confirm them as one of the best.

so long as theres one great band on the pyramid ill be happy..even if their not headlining.

I can't see them sub headlining. how the hell would they fit a set into one hour. I think they will headline the other and i reckon it will be up against U2

Don't say this! AF and U2 are two of my favourite bands and this festival is looking like the ultimate line up at the minute. I think I've picked the perfect year for my first Glasto. I'm so glad U2 didnt play last year.

yet they are big enough to headline R&L and Coachella = glastonbury really is the greatest festival of them all!!
