Anyone else feel like that their life is taking a back seat now to managing to get Glastonbury tickets? haha.

Last night I had an offer of the cinema, but turned it down incase I missed a sneaky resale. After the queue page loading earlier todaty I'm too scared to go and make lunch incase I miss something. I will probably muster up the courage to go shortly, but will leave my bank card lying on my keyboard and take the blackberry with me incase I recieve an email. alerting me of something

I hope for my health and general life I get one soon. Anyone similar?

Hmm, I have to say that I am pretty gutted I did not get tix, but after they sold out on

Sunday, having spent 4 hours and 21 minutes trying constantly on everything available, I switched

off and went for a walk. I really want to go and will keep hope up for resale in any shape or form,

but I have to say that I wanted them to cut numbers back to 130k attendance after this year and swore that

I would not ever bitch and moan again over not getting tickets, as there always have to be people not

getting in, to make the event possible in the first place and more enjoyable for people who where lucky

enough to get through.

The only thing I am slightly bothered about is the fact that it seems iphone 3g and VPN seemed to have

an edge over normal connections but hey, never mind.

Folks,

Ok - so I've got tickets and don't know how I'd react if I didn't... but seriously just wait for the Sprig re-sale.

There's 137,500 people who've paid deposits out there... that's 137,500 people who have to find £155 in April and not have other plans or have to pull out.

People will be pregnant, lost their job, unwell, split up with partner, fallen out with friends, not fancy the line-up, want to go to another fest closer to home etc.

Be patient and you will get your tickets folks... the numbers are in your favour.

I reckon you should all relax. :)

If there's going to be a sneaky resale I think it's hugely unlikely to happen before Thursday. I don't believe it will happen until after they've had a chance to go thru Sunday's transactions and remove any duplicates that might have happened, and taken payment for all of Sunday's transactions too (so that any they can't get payment for can be freed up to be resold).

I haven't checked back, but I'm pretty sure the sneaky resales last year were from Thursday.

Had completely forgotten about failed payments - good point. Would See not try to contact the customer first though to give them a chance to sort it out? That would delay the resale some while though I would have thought.

I think they do contact them - but I'd guess that they'll be some who simply won't have the funds to cover the order they've made.

Me too.

This would have been my 8th Glaston, I suppose I just started to take it for granted that I would be there each year.

Was still in miserable denial yesterday... the only thing keeping me from giving up on Glaston completely was reading the lovely encouraging comments on here.

Never, ever take Glastonbury for granted!

    • I went to the O2 show as had cheap NHS tickets. I did love the whole Machine Gun Kelly vs MGK Emo/Pop Punk stuff amusing and could see that show going down well. I thought it was so funny watching the video skits of a die hard old skool fan gradually morphing in to an Emo Kid. That show with less old Machine Gun Kelly tunes and more MGK Pop-Punk would be ace.   Pair him against a heavy act on the other stage and jobs a goodun,
    • Not sure if this is allowed, but I have an additional daily ticket which I’m willing to sell for a heavily reduced price. If you, or someone you know wants to go that day, but wouldn’t for the original price, let me know.    Edit: It’s for Friday
    • Couple of standing tickets left on ticketmaster if anyone is still trying
    • Choosing  I think boycotting a festival you would usually attend simply because you don't like one of the acts is pretty petulant to be honest, just go and watch a different stage. There are plenty of the usual slam dunk attendees who would be into him, as well as attracting new festivalgoers too.
    • I've never felt it takes that long but I'm quite a fast walker 😂
