quite right, it was all fun with the dreadlocks and crazy drumming, but for f**k's sake lads, get yourself smartened up and into some honest work if you want to come to this party!

Oh dear. This posted on netweather's glastonbury forum not long ago...

"well i am sat about 500 yards from the pyramid stage in my trailer and at the moment it is slinging it down. the grass is still green but very wet in parts walkways are very muddy on the edges. i believe but haven't been there that the park and shangrila are waterlogged. the ground was drying up nicely till the latest downpour, so lets hope it doesn't last all day. • Regarding PinkPantheress: I watched the ending of The Cure from the back and then bolted straight to Cupra to save spots on the steps for my entire festival crew. Thus, we all had a good experience there. Sucks that not everybody got to properly see it, but it felt like something out of Glastonbury where those who showed up long in advance got to see a big artist on a smaller stage in good conditions.
    • Cracking debut album earlier this year
    • TOP 10 acts (top 5 in bold😞   Blood Orange (ciutat)   Guitarricadelafuente   Oklou - Looks like I'm capable of enjoying music in the rain after all, just not the whole night.   Rilo Kiley   The Cure   Jade   Depresión Sonora   Gelli Haha (Parc del Forum) - Her music never really clicked with me. Until I saw her live.   MARINA   Six Sex (ciutat) - I was shocked how supersmall the venue was and that almost everyone (except for me) knew every word of every song (including the ones that were released this weekend!).   Honorable mention:   Ashnikko - missed the first 15 minutes (because of Gelli Haha) and I'm not really a fan of her music, but the show was an absolute blast.
    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
