Is that true? Were JACK's predictions in 2010 as bad as that a close as 2 days before the Wednesday???

Hmmmm, i'd like it hotter and sunnier, to be honest, but I'm not a fussy c**t, as long as it's dry, I guess (yeah, I know I'm an ungrateful wretch)

Posting those pictures has nothing to do with the weather Neil, I've repeatedly agreed with this but you seem unable or unwilling to take that in. I have however said most of the big threads on here are filled with things off topic - something you can't really refute.

I'm also saying I have no problem with you asking people to cut down on the number of those pictures. They were starting to fill the thread and it was starting to get a bit silly. This, again, is something I've reiterated time and time again.

and of course that's got nothing at all to do with the fact that I won't allow these forums to degenerate into the lowest common denominator, which has killed so many other forums (including forums about Glastonbury that used to be far busier than these)

    • Consider that the sound quality can be better near the front bars right behind the soundbooth rather than closer to the stage, like with mbv. And of course, the front sections are full of talkers too.   The most courteous move would be to have conversations in the very back of the field.
    • I mean...I do think it all needs more regulation, but god knows how when it's all so global...but there's so much stuff on there that is messing with our little minds. But also, he has given these companies till September, and well...he'll surely be gone by then. I think social media ban for under 16s will likely happen, but I think regulating it for everyone is better. It's the not the kids we should be worried about, it's all those middle aged doom scrolling keyboard warriors like me.
    • I agree the prices are tough for locals. You can see if Porto timetable is the type that works for you and it's a terrific city. Also cheaper. https://www.primaverasound.com/es/porto/lineup-porto
    • thanks XXialac! i guess for us the most important aspect will be a festival that starts very late in the day, specially in these southern countries were it can be really hot! The combination of visiting a new city, having good lunches and enjoying a festival is a absolute must for us. Also, we like headliners but the undercard is just as important; truly enjoyed Men I trust, NewDad, Big Thief this year so from that angle it is not really a big thing if a festival is somewhat smaller.    Apparently my bad, i had 5 in my system but 0.5 (10%) increase is still huge. I am not sure how teenagers can afford these prices............
