..... and having seen his further post over there, it's not only him that likes a good lie, it seems it's netweather themselves too. And I guess the reason for their own lie is that they didn't like being told that their weather forecasts are worse than Metcheck's - which they certainly were when I did a comparison.

So against the statements of lies, here's a bit of truth back at them.... eFestivals does not have "a commercial relationship with metcheck" and never ever has done. This website used to feature Metcheck's weather forecasts, but hasn't done for however many years (3+ at least I think) since the main part of this website changed from having a green pages to the design it has now.

The childishness of some knows no bounds it seems. :(

Speaking as a new member & woman.... It's appreciated! Not the most friendly thing to stumble upon (particually in a forum for Glastonbury - surposedly a festival that supports equality and freedom)!!

May I suggest the moderator takes a deep breath and gets a coffee, walks away from the computer has a stretch and a smoke.

before anyone else gets banned ,offended or leaves the forum.

WHAT YOU AND OTHERS ARE FAILING TO UNDERSTAND IS THAT A NUMBER OF PEOPLE HAD ALREADY LEFT BEFORE I INTERVENED - BECAUSE OF THE SEXISM

That's a page I didn't realise still existed, and as far as I'm aware it's not linked to from any other page within the site.

But as you've found it, perhaps it is - could you please tell me how you got to it, so that I can remove the page as well as any links to it?

That page in a roundabout way makes clear that there's no relationship - because what it says about "the weather icon will appear on all the pages for that festival" isn't what actually happens, as you can see for yourself.

As a women I never found it sexist nor offensive. It was just harmless fun?? What is wrong with people appreciating the female form?

Fair enough if the admin guy told the poster to stop because it was causing offensive to others. But this is the internet, please let it be free.

Agreed - but as some people are reading this at work (like me), it does draw the eye to my PC of anyone who's walking past at the time; I think that was more the point that some people were trying to make!

Not really suitable work viewing is it!

    • We head out in the morning. Couple of nights in New York then up to Boston. Enjoy the games lads and hopefully we get some great football to take our minds off the whole shitshow off the pitch.
    • White Stripes/QotSA at Harewood 2007, Tramlines (and Blue Dot, same weekend) in '23, and Elbow at Jodrell Bank '13.
    • Yeah exactly, the shock moments, group layouts, etc all end up playing out differently once you get into the tournament. However you tweak it, you don't predict shocks.
