You know, it's all good fun and all. But wearing your lucky pants on match day has no effect on how your team does, and saying it might rain, or how you'd feel if it does, has no effect on what the weather is on the day (*).

I think most of us are joking when we say things like "don't jinx things by saying the r*** word, but sometimes I'm not sure.

Anyhow, it'll take a *lot* of rain to dampen my spirit. Having said that, I've been to at least three Glastos that had a *lot* of rain. Statistically, the chances of this being another are low.

(* alright, the Butterfly Effect, I know. No *predictable* or *significant* effect.)

Wales is a make it r**n bomb already. That's like science and that.

To anyone who thinks that wanting nothing but pure, glorious sunshine is because we are wimps, who can't stand a bit of moisture, it has nothing to do with that, it has everything to do with how your legs and back feel at midnight when you haven't been able to park your arse since breakfast.

To illustrate this point here is a picture of a squirrel on a teapot:

I have only ever seen squirrels when the weather is good. I suspect that when it is bad they stay in and watch telly. Technically German squirrels must be the ones to watch for.

We need the latest run (06z) to be the start of a trend of similar runs, if this does not happen then the 06z was the outlier. This time last year and indeed closer to the festival these runs switched between good and washout and only at the last minute did it go fantastic, so still time but we would like to see more runs like the last one very soon.

    • And thankfully not a 'comedy legend slot', as just announced by Sandringham
    • London show also has the k’s as support
    • Only three weeks away from the festival - they're leaving it rather late! Mind you, it seems the Saturday is already incredibly busy anyway. Day tickets sold out months ago.
    • Yep.   The fact that the festival felt the need to fudge the name like that suggests that they see it as a way to showcase solo legends, and on that basis INABS holds true - until it doesn't for whatever reason.
