TOILETS

Didn't appear to be any urinals there this year tho  or at least not obvious ones anyway although must admit I didn't actually wander over to check, just headed back towards Ye Olde Railwaye Line instead. Seemed more than a bit d@ft TBH given the usual problems with significant levels of hedge P!$$ing up there even when there were urinals within very easy reach as there have been in several recent years.

Urinals were missing from the Big Ground this year. Not good that the Men had to use the long drops to pee & most always left a little mess! Bring the urinals back there please, Oh and also the standpipe!

I thought there were more toilets dotted around the site compared to previous years.

More shepees would be great, so quick and easy, you guys don't know how lucky you are :D

i'm sure my boyfriend used the urinals in the stone circle although i don't remember seeing them, i was queueing for the toilet at the time.

they were the best toilets, they didn't smell.

I think that they took out some toilets and replaced them with urinals - which did make the toilets much cleaner! I really noticed the difference. But there did seem to be fewer toilets - usually there's some at the bottom of Pennards (on PGD side) and they weren't there this year. And the last few years there's been 3 sets of 3 blocks in Dairy ground but this year it was 2 sets of 2 blocks! And people have already mentioned the ones on the stone circle side of Pennards.

There were still some lone water points though where the toilets have been in previous years. The toilets just weren't there as a marker.

Yea, I've noticed this alot the last few years, people queing up and waiting for people to come out the loos rather than just walking around them and checking whether they are red/green or just trying the doors. Strange.

Campervan fields were definetly lacking this year, E23 in particular had about two thirds less than last year. E23 is the first field you come to at the top of the hill of death. A tad silly considering its quite a busy crossroads junction with food outlets nearby as well. That said, the few that were there were kept reasonably clean and decent throughout the festival.

We were in E23 Campervan and I was not impressed by the toilets. There seemed to be no water supply to them a lot of the time so they didn't flush and clogged up. I saved myself for the ones at the bottom of the Hill of Death by Ped gate C and they were always fine.

I was very confused on the Thusday when I went to use the toilets at the top of Pennards which had been my local loos last year. I hadn't realised you could use the ones actually at the Stone Circle as I'm sure these were ones you paid for last year???

I also thought some were missing from next to the Glade but I could be mistaken given the state I was in!

I'll second Jameshunt on the toilet thing. I'm of an age where that particular luxury is very important to me.

As to the heat, by about 9am we had to open the back and side doors of our camper van. You could then just about manage another hour if you needed it, but that was it.

Shower with cold water was great, but about 30 seconds after you stopped you were hot again.

And you know what. I don't care, lets hope next year is just as hot and sunny.

I'd have thought it was protection from the horrible humid heat of a two man tent. I was ruined by Sunday this year by going to bed late and not being able to sleep in late due to the heat. What's a camper van like for heat on a year like this one?
