What everyone else has said

I really did have a moment when I thought 'Wow, I am part of something that is going to go down in history' - and it felt amazing. He did have a lil cheese moment or two but I can forgive him that as he absolutely rocked it, the end of the set was amazing.

And I can forgive the no encore and no 'As'.......think this is the 3rd thread I have moaned about that  . He was a living leg end, I can't think of any other person who could pull a crowd like that or a performance like that. No words to describe it, just ruddy big grins. Peace and love Mr Wonder xx

Had a bit of a worried moment when he announced at the start that his set would be a 'tribute' to Michael Jackson, but shouldn't have worried.

Is there a more joyful noise in the entire history of 20th century music than the sound of Stevie Wonder's harmonica?

Higher Ground, Living For The City, Uptight, For Once In My Life, Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours, Sir Duke, Superstition - the hits just kept coming.

I'd also say that this gig that also marked the public rehabilitation of the usually much-maligned I Just Called To Say I Love You.

What can I add?

For sheer hands in the air joyousness from start to finish I have never experienced anything quite like it.

I got married the weekend before Glastonbury and my new hubby and I hugged and kissed all through "For once in my life" which is a song I'd never even thought about before - and then I hugged my mum and sang in her ear right through "I just called to say I love you" (possibly as badly as Michael Eavis). Just beautiful shared memories for all of us. "Happy Birthday" at the end was just brilliant on so many levels.

Quite possibly the best thing I have ever been at anywhere ever!

Have to admit i was very sceptical before the festival but i was 1,000,000% wrong it was a stunning performance and one i couldn't stop smiling and dancing through, so glad i couldn't be arsed walking the JP tent for Ash after Faithless.

I left after about 45 minutes - quite like some of his stuff but for me it was a bit too cheesy really

Did listen to it from back at the tent and he seemed to save the big numbers until the end

Just watched some of it that i recorded and find the bit where he drinks from the goblet really cringeworthy

Just my opinion though - seems to be the minority on this thread. Glad most other people enjoyed it

This was a bona fide 'Glastonbury Moment' for me, decided I'd go with my mate and expected it to be a bit average.I danced like loon through all the tunes, me and my mate hugging and singing 'I just called to say I love you' to each other and I actually welled up during the set which surprised me.

Then at the end, he started talking about creating a world where there are no barriers for those with disabilities, well, having a disabled daughter that just made me sob! I was cheering and crying, very emotional!

One of the best things I've seen in my life!!

He was rather good, if a lil cheasey at times but they were so cheasey you could only laugh about it. I didn't like all the songs, I am not a stevie fan but the atmosphere just had me dancing though out the entire show and singing the bits I did know. So glad I didn't try to go see anyone else or someone I really loved and would chose over him was on :).

It was incredible, but it was always going to be. I was dancing my ass off and singing so loudly that I can barely talk. There were a couple of songs I'd hoped for that were missing, but let's be honest, he could do 3 hours solid and still miss out some great stuff - such is the quality of the back catalogue.

Quick shout for Faithless too. Never been a fan, but thought they did a good show.

Absolutely f**king brilliant set. Loved every minute of it. Danced with random people I didn't know which was brilliant. Superstitious was wonderfull. Everything about it was absolutely fantastic.

The first time I've been blown away by a Pyramid headliner in the 3 years that I've been going.

I've wanted to see Stevie for years and admit to being a bit nervous about what he'd do, would we get lots of funk jams and 80's ballads.

Never been so happy to be so wrong. It was a quick greatest hits set, brilliantly sung with an amazing atmosphere. Special.

Pretty much everything you could hope. As above, he could've played two completely different sets and they'd still be blinders.(As, Boogie On Reggae Woman, You Haven't Done Nothin', I Don't Know Why I Love Her, I Was Made To Love Her, I Wish, Lately etc etc etc)

Saw him at the 02 but this was better, sound was great where I was, even if would've been nice to be a bit closer.

LEGEND!!! :D

I was a bit disappointed by the Vegas style 'banter' on stage.

The bit where he's slagging off his 'relationsh1t', and the 'Little Stevie' section were cringeworthy in the extreme.

But despite knowing only a couple of his songs he really held my attention and the time of the set flew in.

Really really enjoyed it, and the guy is an inspiration.

Apart from the cheesy bit about the 'magic drinking lotion', the fact that I Just Called To Say I Love You was played (although I must say, it didn't come across as badly as I feared it would) and when he struggled to get Michael Eavis' name right (i think he reached to read it from some braille piece?), this was a perfect way to have a legend finish the festival. Truly thought he did magnificently, despite some worries I had going into the set. I'll always remember this one!
