I was there!! Your boys played well and could have scored 5 or 6 not including the penalty you missed at the end. Forest looked dreadful and can kiss goodbye to the play off's me thinks. Conceding far too many at the moment

Suarez and Carroll or Torres... We got a good deal there. Both were excellent.

Kuyt, Lucas, Spearing and Flanno were also superb. Had a few poor performances away (not as poor as early on though), but overall under Kenny we've been fantastic.

Chelsea, Arsenal, Utd, City, Spurs, Newc, Villa, Liverpool, and Everton - all of these teams will finish above Sunderland, apart from perhaps Newc (due to Prem inexperience rather than worse players, if Sunderland finish above them).

Damn. Why did I omit Bolton and Fulham?:lol:

Sorry yeah, tempting fate I know but I couldnt help it when I saw them just pack it in last night.

Liverpool were great by the way. Carroll and Suarez in particular played great. So did that Flanagan kid at right back. Great to see.

am pissed off that I didn't get to see the game. Bloody kids. :P

But how many fantastic right backs does one club need? The England right back being bettered by two kids in the same season.

And according to the Beeb's footie gossip, Phil Thompson said last night that they've agreed a deal for Jose Enrique, so that looks like they've got their left back problem sorted. If they can get a decent holding midfield player plus some wingers (Ashley Young gets constantly mentioned) in the summer they're going to be a force again next season.

But then again ... at the start of this one most of us were thinking that Gerrard / Cole / Torres were going to prove a force, and instead proved to be shit. But at least Kenny has shown that he knows how to use what he's got - I hope he gets to keep the job.

They didn't convince me.

yeah, but you thought that Sunderland had a decent shout at finishing 6th. They never did.

The problem is your appreciation of football - mind you, it would help if you knew the rules so that you could appreciate the game for what it is and not what you wrongly think it is. ;)

Being convincing winners and deserved winners are two different things.

I would agree with Worm. Liverpool deserved to win against Chelsea and Man Utd, but i was more surprised with the poor performances of Chelsea and Utd rather than convinced of Liverpools abilities.

That being said, they played great last night.
