Hardly a massive fall though. England didn't qualify for the Euros in 2008, or the World Cup in 1994. England are consistently second tier in world terms. I agree Huddlestone isn't amazing but Franny Jeffers and Michael Rickets have both played for England in the past.

Possibly yeah but theres no reason for it is there? Qualification campaign was superb and there 3-4 world class players in the team. More than some of the team who went much further in the world cup. Maybe it is Fabios fault?

Goal keeper is a massive issue. Two of the goals conceded in the World Cup were total howlers.

due to a very unusual Walcott on day.

Nah, not so unusual. He gets a lot of undeserved criticism; Rooney hadn't scored for around 5 months (and even now he's not scored, can't really count a penalty as him back to scoring), yet where are the same comments about "inconsistent"? ;)

And this season? He's had the ball in the net 3 times on two consecutive weekends (tho 2 on the w/e just gone were ruled out for offside), and by the end of this season (if he stays fit ;)) he'll be regarded as one of England's top players (and some here can eat their words :P). :)

He's good but certainly not fantastic. Having watched him an awful lot when he played for us, he's always flattered to deceive. Very good dribbler of the ball, and holds on to it well, but far to little end product. That he's now potentially going to Birmingham shows how far his star has fallen since his Barca transfer.

That shows how good your player appreciation is.

His last season in the Prem he was the Prem's most effective player (and 2nd most the season prior to that if my memory is right) via the stats.

    • Same’s happened at MSG recently with Rush and Phish alternating nights. I guess each band has its own unique production so their riggers will be kept busy
    • The rumour was uk arena tour late this year.  Same as Charli xcx cant be announced until Reading headline is done.
    • Latest from the sun at least is that harry is still headlining but Olivia has turned down a spot next year to work on new music and hope for 2028.   So they can't have Fender, Fontaines, Harry, Olivia and Madonna.
    • I mean I don't think EC and FFDP are borderline sub, they wouldn't be any lower now.   2025 is about as strong as Bloodstock gets yet this year only one headline would sub and the others would play 3rd down or lower.    Machine Head wouldn't sub at Download regardless of rarity, they don't sell enough tickets and I'm not sure Gojira would sub either. Their last UK tour was a mix of smaller arenas and academy dates. Ally Pally being the only London date, not even Wembley Arena.
    • live music / main stage will generally end around 11pm but theres dj’s and late goings on right till 4am if you are so inclined.   Drinks are about £7.50 a pint probably and yes theres lots of mixed drinks / spirits / cocktails available to buy   wonderful festival, back for my third year in a row and 4th overall
