Monday night football, did anyone else think the screen with the arrows etc is the worst analysis of football they've ever seen? I did.

My overwhelming thought is that it will all end in tears. He's saying the right things and it is actually his own money he is talking of using rather than borrowing against the club (though how much you could actually borrow against t'Rovs anyway is debateable)and the amounts involved are, to him, a pittance. But if he wants it as a plaything, he could easily get bored (especially if he comes to some of our away games) and if he wants to make money, he'll be sorely disappointed. The reason we never developed the fourth side at the ground was we would never fill it, even in the Uncle Jack boomtown days - the town just isn't big enough.

Still, it'll piss em off in Burnley :D

I disagree CBC. Cardiff have lost a good player in ledley but replaced with bellamy a top premiership striker and koumas who is also great at championship level. Chopra and Bellamy should comfotably be the best forward line up in the league and these 2 supported by whittingham and koumas should produce lots of goals. Cardiff were close last year in a weaker league. I think they are stronger this season so should go up.

how long before Bellend is nicked for violence in Cardiff yet again? I give it 3 months.

So a player could refuse to go out on loan and then walk away from their contract at the end of the season, plus be paid the bonuses they'd have got had they been playing :O

In theory, yes.

In reality, getting thru the legalities to that point would take a season of being out of the 25, then probably another season to get the contract voided.

Any smart professional who wanted to play would negotiate themselves out of their contract without going thru the FIFA process. Plus any player who did go thru the process would very probably find themselves without another club wanting them - after all, they're not likely to be a great player if they'd have been left out of the initial 25.

Absolutely 100% correct. And yes I am a City season ticket holder. Ledley was injured most of last season and we've replaced him with a Koumas who is arguably on a par with Ledley and we've got a decent defensive midfielder in as well in Oli. No big team in the Championship this year to run away with it (Newcastle/WBA) so yes a much stronger team in a weaker league.

Is brittle bone disease contageous? I'm beginning to wonder if there's been an outbreak at the Arsenal training groud as Nasri is now going to be out for a month after having an operation on his knee. Just how many injury prone players can we have, it's beyond belief. Or maybe there a young lady with giant jubblies that works in the physio room that they're all trying to take a crack at.

So, the Citeh deal for Milner. 19.5 million AND Stephan Ireland!!!?? Citeh are a real bunch of c**ts aren’t they? How much are they paying for him then? Is Ireland worth 10 million? I think so, at least that (despite the fact that hes insane). So they're basically paying 30 million for Milner.

Check out these stats.

James Milner:

Goals: 19

Assists: 24

From 91 Games

Total direct goal contribution = 0.472527 per game

Stephen Ireland:

Goals: 21

Assists: 17

From 76 Games

Total direct goal contribution = 0.5 per game

    • I really like the Cheap Thrills! I saw them at the Ruby Lounge in Manchester in January at one of Chris Hawkins' "Awesome Friends" nights (which i think is why I even got tickets as it wasn't listed as a Cheap Thrills show!). Very good live and some great songs. I would've gone Saturday if I'd planned ahead!
    • They also seem to be in a mission to break the US with their new major label and this latest LP   Mid afternoon, live streamed on Disney+ is arguably a much bigger gig than Kendal Calling, if they had to skip one
