depending on who i'm with, i might have to endure some of faithless :P would love to go and see julian casablancas and then head to see stevie, but it's just not realistic. hopefully the pyramid will run a bit later than scheduled and the clashfinders a wee bit out, but i doubt it.

I have been listening and watching some of Stevies numbers today and its already bringing a lump to my throat! His songs bring back a lot of childhood memories for me and i am just so looking forward to this, worth the admission fee alone. I am just going to have a crazy big smile on my fave combines with a tear or to of happiness!

I can't wait :P:P:P:lol:

Cant recall when this was but it had to have been before 1972/73 - went to see the Stones and the warm up act was Stevie Wonder but I am not really into his music.

So if the clash guide is correct will watch Richard Thompson and then catch the Levellers assuming I am not working.

My hit list is Bootleg Beatles , Richard Thompson, Al Stewart and Judy Collins so even if I see 50% of my wish list I will still be happy.

It's a tricky one this. The thing I know for certain is that I WILL WATCH Dirty Projectors at the Park. Then It's either Ash or Orbital. I've seen both of them three times before and they are both bankers to put in a blinding set.

I believe Ash currently have Bloc Party's Russell Lissack in on loan, if that makes a difference to anyone.

no idea, might be dan le sac & scroobius pip, might be orbital, might be stevie wonder. Mosct likely it'll be none and I'll be sat up on flagtopia or at the stone circle, just looking down at the wonder of it all. Drinking it all in for the last time for a year

I think so far I've been saying I'm going to Stevie on the basis of his reputation , but in my heart of hearts I know it's not really my thing, apart from three songs possibly?

I will most probably end up at Dan le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip.

Saw Stevie in 2008 at the o2 & he was amazing. The first half of his set then was quite jazzy & a lot of his newer stuff which I didn't know too well - then he started Part Time Lover & the next hour or so was just superb, hit after hit.

Sends a shiver down my spine just thinking about it - cannot wait!

Saw Stevie at the 02 a while back, so i'll be watching Rodrigo y Gabriela at West Holts unless something drastically changes my opinion between now and Sunday night at Glasto...

My underlying memory of that night at the 02 was the 800 hour long jazz interlude in 'Ribbon In The Sky'. God, that was the longest song i've ever heard.

Stevie could be excellent if he brings out a 'greatest hits' setlist, so i'll be monitoring what he plays at other gigs before he does Glasto to see what I can expect. Otherwise it'll be latino guitar noodling for me!

    • It was awful during Father John Misty and I was close to the front. People just shouting and laughing their f-ing heads off about nothing in particular and being louder than the bloody stage.
    • Other things I noted yesterday, away from the obvious…   Positives: - an extra water point towards the back left of the main stages has appeared, which I believe is new for this year (and was much needed) - handing out free ponchos was a good touch  - caroline were fantastic. I’d never been in the Auditori Rockdelux before, it’s a wonderful venue and a great venue if you fancy a more chilled out environment  Negatives: - the talkers. I know it’s always bad here (and most festivals nowadays) but f**k me people wouldn’t shut up yesterday. I wonder if it was partly as a result of people being at artists they had little interest in (due to rain limiting their options), although it wasn’t great during blood orange. We’ll be making an effort to get a spot nearer the front for anyone we particularly care about over the weekend  - not enough staff around (and the ones that are there are largely useless). Most other festivals have them everywhere and are happy to help
