Fair comment but stuff like that is acceptable and Christmas day itself is great, it's the rest of the crap that pisses me off.

it's the opposite with me this year. i've enjoyed the build up to christmas, buying and wrapping presents etc. but i haven't been looking forward to christmas day.

It's just another day, one I ain't bothering my arse about!

Christmas day has always been great at my parents house and now at my sisters in Scotland. Lots of family getting together and having a big feast and drinking too much. :D

Which can be done any day of the year, surely if its that good you would do it no matter what the day is :)

She has her own plans for the day which am sure will be fun for her :)

  • 2 weeks later...

Just got an email saying I passed my November CIMA exam, 69%. Sexy.

I had a dream 5 minutes ago that I got 72%, and was really annoyed when I woke up and realised it wasn't real. So I checked my email, turns out the prediction wasn't too far off.

Although I'm not completely convinced this isn't still a dream, as I'm pretty sleepy... what a boring subconscious I have if so, posting on a forum in my dreams...

That after a really, really shite last two weeks of 2010 that saw me get the flu, my flat I was away to move into in the perfect location flood after a burst water main and the breakup of the relationship I was in, things are going pretty damn well in 2011 and feeling pretty happy again. Feels good to be back to the usual old self.

I;m happy that I always have Fridays off now that I work a compressed week. I was really worried I'd regret it at first, but it's working really well. I'm doing just as much as I usually do when I get home from work and I've got a whole extra day to myself.

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
    • Taxi mafia running their usual scam.
