Rage followed by The Levellers was the best Friday night ever, but that's probably not an opinion shared by some others on this thread!

It's just been announced that Cowell and co are thinking about moving the X Factor final back a week or two next year so it doesn't clash with Christmas no.1. They fear the same sort of campaign could happen next year also.

So it has achieved a little something!

That was the last 2 bands on the Friday in '94.

I've heard the Lev's have been asked to play this year, and surely Glasto must be at least slightly interested in having Rage back. Maybe Rage should do their free gig at Glasto, by not charging Glasto performance fees. I'd imagine they'd be too expensive otherwise.

Do you consider this decent music then,as much as i think anything by X Factor total rubbish i would class this as bad...Non of this has any real place in Glastonbury...Which has for the most always has good music

Was this a campaign to get RATM to xmas number 1? Or a campaign against xfactor and manufactured pop?

I would of thought (hoped) the latter, therefore it doesnt really matter when the final is held. There will no doubt be a campaign next year whenever the final is.

I dont think moving the final really makes a difference, and RATM at number 1 hasnt really achieved a whole lot. I imagine its quite likely that Joe will be number 1 this week instead.
