these forums are a doddle compaired to some i've visited/used.

it cracks me up when people on these boards start complaining about negativity or bullying etc and also when you see the same few members trying their damndest to be the wannabe cool rebel or borderline troll by trying to be a c**t, as in general those on here trying to do it are so awful at it.

Thing is with Mr 99, whilst his posts grind and grate with some members he is never rude and abusive like some on here.

I like mike and his odd way of communicating to the wider world and will stand up for him.....

Honestly I don't know why he gets to so many people? Forums are just like my mail. I read the ones I read the things I want to read and bypass the ones I dont. I get mail that looks as though its worth opening and I find its dribble. I just chuck it away, no dramas. Whats a few of his posts in hundreds over the next few months gonna do. Is it really going to make your time on here any different? Is it really going to stop you from goin to Glasto? I doubt it.

If I lived in a community where everyone toed the line day in and day out it would be one heck of a boring place. Every community needs differences in characters otherwise it would get boring.

Fook me, how many people do you know that will take as much abuse as mike without biting/kicking off and getting arsey about it all. Not many ppl would just take it in their stride getting slagged off all the time without biting i tells ya...

I don't know what makes me grin more, mike99's threads or the people that get wound up over him.

If his threads bother you - don't read them! It's as simple as that.

Some of you people complain that he's attention seeking, yet aren't you giving him the attention by complaining lol?

Whatever mike99 is, I've never seen him type anything nasty or rude, whereas others constantly do (and receive no stick)

Whether he's an attention seeker, naive, or a windup merchant, he's certainly memorable & you haters are turning him into a mini legend of efestivals.

I never minded him. In fact, his posts would provide me with entertainment and his topics with content such as "muse to play 2010....what do u think???" were kind of endearing. But they never pissed me off.

i want to stick up for him but i do not know the complete history, but i have read quite a few peoples reasons for complaint. though i do have to say that he is not an aggressive post-er but is annoying with his lack of punctuation and input into other topics, or lack of it (but who actually knows other than himself).

has he responded to any of the hatred he has received? i had a look but could not find any.

this is like sitting down to watch 'sex in the city' but coming in half way through the series. you just want to understand it all and know what has gone on before. oh actually, thinking about it ... maybe not.

my theory about mike99icecreambutcostsfourpounds is that he is rather young, loves sausages (which is not a bad thing), has never been taught punctuation or English very well …. oh and he watches sex in the city.

someone called mike99 joined another forum i go on and started a glasto thread there. As soon as i said " don't worry mike they'll treat you better here than on efests" he stopped posting and hasn't since

no i don't think mike has posted on here... i don't see whats wrong with mike99, i'm sure we have all made a few pointless threads... nount wrong with leaving a queston mark off to get ppl to read a thread... or maybe he is dyslectic or summin??? god knows
