Meh, wouldn't be overly fussed if they were to play. I'm a big fan of Muse, but I actually found them quite underwhelming live when I saw them at Wembley Arena a few years back (just after BH&R was released). Depending on who would be playing at the same time, I might give them a miss. Not impressed with their new album either, that was absolutely gash.

I've given the new album a few more listens on Spotify now and I think it's growing on me. Still think the frenchie sounding song and the 3 Exogenesis tracks are weak though. Exogenesis is just showing off without merit. It's the Matt Bellamy "Look What I Can Do" Show.

Could you imagine it at glasto with full orchestra on stage for Muse's opening? (I want to go away from the Pyramid still singing to Knights and it would be kind of weird in the middle.) Gah, its making me behave like a little school girl who just saw xfactor joe walking down the street :P

Muse for saturday headliner will be epic, despite the hatters :P

Heres the plan

they play their full set and then come on for an encore, they play exo in full with strings. it finishes with fireworks and stuff and they walk off stage... the lights go on and everyone starts to leave...

As this is happening you start to hear a harmonica, everyone turns round to see chris playing the man with a hormonica intro in the middle of the stage... Everyone pauses just long enough to see bellers knee slide alcross the stage playing the intro to KOC. Everyone cahrges back to the stage which is too much for the barriers so everyone just invades the stage.

It'll be awesome and I can't wait to air guitar to Knights with muse :P

I'd be up for this. Never seen them, and not bothered enough to pay for one of their own gigs, plus I think they'd be either good, funny, or funny and good.

Oddly enough, exactly the same reasons why I want the Stones to headline

    • I agree that we’ll never really know up until the concert happens (and even then we still may not know) but I think promoters are having to come up with new tactics to combat ‘blue dot fever’ (already hating that phrase!) and trying to imply that concerts are selling better than they actually are / available tickets are in short supply is definitely one of them.    To add though, it is quite common at the O2 Arena for the rear blocks to not go on sale (and then remain closed for the concert and covered over to hide the empty seats). And equally common for standing to sell out first, then side/lower tier seating next and rear/upper tier seating last.    Jungle’s two concerts at the O2 are a good comparison for this - for their 1st (announced) date, all blocks are on sale and seats in all sections remain unsold, whereas for their 2nd date, the rear blocks are greyed out (more so than for Muse) and equally lots of seats remain unsold in the blue blocks. Standing for both concerts are showing as sold out.
    • MGK can and should headline. I was at one of his shows earlier in the year as a very casual fan, and there were a lot of alt people there. The show was actually class and he completely won me over. Anyone who opposes him headlining is just a gatekeeper imo, we need to move with the times.
    • Ultimately Glasto is just part of the festival circuit, however special we may think it is. The vast majority of its headliners have done many others
    • From Magyar’s FB:   ”Our country's energy and water supply is stable. As of today, voluntary consumption reduction is no longer necessary. The turbine at the Paks power plant is generating stably. Thanks to precipitation in Austria, the water level of the Danube will temporarily rise by 20–30 centimeters. Thank you, Hungary, for the unprecedented national unity shown in recent days! We have much to be proud of, and much to carry forward into the period ahead.”
    • I hope it stays under £400.  A lot of us aren't flush with cash.  Charities are great but do they need £1 mil (I jest)
