Yeah, for me Friday on the Pyramid Stage is a write off, i'd rather scratch myself with a rusty cheesgrater than listen to Bono waffle on about his political views! Regardless of what people say on these forums, it will turn out to be a self-righteous performance from him, mark my words!

Otherwise I'd go for Rolling Stones and Muse on Saturday and Sunday, although if i'm being picky i'd go Rolling Stones and Radiohead...!

well, i'm joining the club. it's just a waste of browsing time. wasn't it earlier today that he posted Prince for saturday.

and to think i was excited for a few days about manic street preachers for a while, until i went back to that post and saw who started it...

and then this post...yes, anyone who has done a bit of reading on the forum could have come to a conclusion that these 3 are possibilities, but hardly a groundbreaking revelation that demands a reply-to-my-own-post call of "what do you think Neil??? tell me i'm on to something!?!?! "

mike...go watch telly or something. please...

This thread was to discuss how likely those acts would be to play. Rolling stones for Saturday because neil has almost as good as confirmed it. Muse because there wembley tickets have gone onsale very early and could be to do with Glastonbury. Im not saying its right but can we discuss what i ment for us to discuss in this thread. Thank you. • Wow, way to insult the guy.
    • yougov seems to be the outlier when it comes to the Burnham bounce. But also, being a bounce, it was never going to last, but with Reform maybe on the way down, and Tories holding steady, we could end up with Reform, Labour and Tories all between 20 and 25% for a while. A lot of it at moment with Burnham is vibes, and the vibes are currently sexy and are pulling support back from Greens, but the autumn budget is key...will they go big and bold, or will they do very little because they're thinking a 2027 general election?
    • Attended a gig at Piece Hall for the first time on Saturday (Opeth), the music was excellent. Just a couple of points on the organisation & the event itself. - Getting through the gates seemed to take longer than required. I was at the South gate about 30 mins before stated start time and still missed first half of Katatonia. - Coffee stall was serving cold coffee later on. - Lots of the crowd seemed to be more interested in chatting than listening to the music. Doubly annoying when sound levels for Opeth seemed quieter than Paradise Lost, is this usual for the venue due to curfew etc? Luckily there was enough room so I could move close to the front of the crowd and couldn't hear drunken chatter anymore 🙂
    • Tickets will just be sent out via email; going out next Monday 10th August apparently.
