My favourite is the Avalon cafe, good food, tables and chairs and entertainment. What more could you ask for, have my tea there most nights if I can. The rest of the family would probably say the gourmet burger bar at the end of the jazz field. I once had a brilliant masaman curry up somwhere near to where the dance tents and stuff are now, I think it was up there anyway never found it again the whole weekend or ever since, it was about, 2002. There is also a green and white tent in the circus, theatre field in a corner, it's raising funds for a local school, if you ever come accross it, it's worth stopping by for a bacon baguette or some chips both of which are the best on site, imo. I sound like a right greedy cow, because I am

if you mean the permaculture cafe, i had my sunday lunch there. it's become a traditional haunt. and the pakora and elderflower cordial went down a treat sitting under the shade of the trees.

i thought that as i posted!

they had a great array of cakes this year but i was on a savoury binge. my head was a bit mangled come sunday and it was the perfect place to just sit and be for a while before a spot of shopping over at crafts then joining the throng for old jones the song. even though it was stupidly busy, it got my head on straight again.

La Grand Bouffe. The tartiflette (sp?) potatoes with red wine sausage was the best thing I ate all weekend and I ate some bloody good stuff.

Veggie breakfast at Manic Organic. I'm not veggie but there's something about that breakfast that revitalises the most battered of constitutions.

IMHO La Grande Bouffe has been resting on it's laurels and isn't as nice or good value as it used to be.

Goan fish curry by Jazz World - absolutely GORGEOUS but not cheap and not huge portions so wouldn't do you if you only wanted one main meal a day

The jerk chicken from the Caribbean food shack in the Dance Village is delicous. Portion sizes can be a bit varied (between good and excellent, i.e. never skimpy). There isn't usually a long queue either.

They did all day breakfasts but really fancied some beans on toast, 3 slices of toast & nearly a full tin of beans for £1.50 GREAT!!!!

the best place i went to yesterday was the Blue Stilton Soup, it was bloody lovely!!!

Best meal was le grande bouffe near jazz world , amazing food no cheap but beautifully and the pilton gourmet burger bar I think it was called just of the old railway towards jazz world got a garlic guzzler burger on the way back from Arcadia at silly o'clock !!! Both hit the spot

Also, can't remember the name of the place, but there was a Burger stall right next to the John Peel that was just immense. Blue Stilton Burger from there was the best thing I ate at Glasto.... EVER.

Harbour Seafoods - the Paella place up near the acoustic stage - in the circus fields which also sold mussels - so good they ran out of produce on Sunday morning - they were also at Bestival delicious seafood

Not really a food , but as a pick me up on the Sat morning I had a lovely ice cold chocolate

shake with a wizz dusting !

Got it from the stall between the Other Stage and Jazz world that sold loads of flavours !

The curry house in the Markets (was adjacent to a set of toilets and on the corner...!) with a big blue inflatable elephant on top - you can't miss that, £6 for a really generous portion of curry, rice and naan

I can honestly say, I do not remember eating anything this year apart from a roll in the morning each day.. Thats scary.. I really must lay off the brothers! !

The Japanese Noodles of course. Just off the Pyramid.

Second place is the Tor Rugby Mexican Stall, just as you approach Queen's Head. Lovely wraps with free tortilla chips thrown in as an afterthought.

What did people think of the free soup in the Hare Krishna tent?
