Everything you eat seems to contain unfermented soya, which increases oestrogen levels in the body, which gives you man boobs.

Between this and the Aliens films, I sense a conspiracy to turn all the people on this planet into God damn women. Half the population have already suffered this terrible affliction which has terrible symptoms such as talking in cinemas, cravings for ugly handbags, self-righteous rambling and profuse bleeding on a monthly basis like some sort of malfunctioning lizard.

The writing's on the wall guys.

Is that all you have to do to become a woman? I know a load of women with penises then.

me too.

I love some of the double standards between the sexes...

taking the piss versus bitching etc. when exactly the same thing's going on.

Though I do concede that the male version tends to be wittier.

Yeah alien definitely freaked the hell out of me, since I actually was pregnant when I saw it. :D

My mum too.

I'm not all too clued up on conspiracy theory but I'm loving "The Event" at the moment. I've no idea where it's up to TV wise but I'm about 2 programs off the end of the series and I have really enjoyed watching it :)

Tapes that are about to be released of Jackie Kennedy claim she believed Lyndon Johnson was behind JFKs assassination. Interesting stuff.

JFK was a dog, we all know that, but what was not widely known was that she also had affairs during the marriage. She had affairs with actor William Holden and Fiat tycoon Gianni Agnelli.

I remember hearing about a company called Monsanto, they're a food company who genetically modified seeds & pigs so if seeds from the crops happen to spread to the neighbours farm naturally they sue them as they're patented and the same with pigs if they breed but they lost that right in the courts. They've also spend something like $10m lobbying every year in US government. There was a rumour that they hired their own mercenary army to go out and kill protesters & attack organizations against them and I think there was some documents to prove it.

Loved this, from a poster called White Horse on the David Icke forums:

Some quick observations on the recent 'riots'...

Firstly - they weren't riots ffs!! 100 kids smashing and lootin gshops in Manchester is not rioting - it is only a few steps away from normal fking behaviour for a city like Manchetser where shops get done over all the freakin time! Granted the first batch in Tottenham may have been a riot but the rest... pah!

Second - I do believe it was mainly orchestrated. I think the policing was strategic to leave holes in certain areas to allow violence to spark up. A couple of days in out local press was spalshed with proud boats from the local police about how many thousand of our regions officers had been bussed down to London to help there. Was that a blatant and clear signal to say 'hey the city is now open and empty of police!" there aren't enough police in 'normal times' to cope with robberies/violence and yet we had close to a state of emergency and they sent a huge number way? It was probably apathy and a lack of clear focus that stopped trouble from escalating here.

Third - The timing of the spark seems to me to have been to 'save' the newspaper industry here. After all they are a major plank in the ptb and one of their main weapons of control. Where would we be without the Guardian and the Sun telling us what to do and what to think. Just before the riots started we were looking at every major newspaper coming under a criminal spotlight. Not only that, every major commentator on the phone-hacking scandal was stating that every newspaper was at it - and if you take action aginst one or two individuals then you would have to keep going for all newspapers and probably all other media - crimminey they were even fingering Newsnight as guilty of at least misconduct in this area if not criminal practise. Basically the entire British Media was about to go into the dock accused of basing its entire existence on criminal activity.

The 'riots' have had a two-fold effect for the media. The entire nation has suddenly forgotten what rotten f**king scumbags the media are; and suddenly everyone is friends again. The newspapers will have had their biggest selling week of the year by far - News International have probably filled the income hole left by the NOTW in the last week alone. The media have lapped this up and the coverage has been just short of a pornographic orgy of 'news'-lust.

And all I'm hearing is how great Boris and Cameron are form all angles? WTF? The 'political' process is dead in this country - it was killed finally during the Iraq war run-up and we are reaping that now.

Watch out for the knee-jerk reactions from all sides of the political 'spectrum' (don't make me laugh!).

OK yes I was disgusted by the behaviour of many of these thugs and louts; I was saddened to see there was a lot of violence against normal people and violence against their own communities - but after all most crime is committed by thugs in their own community against their 'own people'. BUT - honestly is smashing a window and grabbing a TV such a major f**king crime? There are a multitude of sins that are far higher on the list. Why don't we have the same reaction against the bankers who are tossing us off into a global recession as they protect their five homes and 3 yatchs.

Unfortunately it was a yob/criminal element involved.

IF these gangs had have attacked solely multinationals (like the G* anarchists do every May) McDonalds or banks etc and Town halls - then I reckong a lot of those people who cam out with brooms, and those who cames out with placards or joined with gangs to protect their communities - they would have joined in, and we could have seen a f**kign revolution here! Instead even left wing liberals are sickend by this and this will set back public demonstrations more than ten years. People will be afraid to demonstrate on the streets for fear of being branded a 'rioter/looter' and of finding themselves in court within an hour of being kicked to the ground *sorry* arrested and having their benefits removed and potentially tehir private property.

These events have now tarnished public demos - bearing in mind what is happening in the middle east - they do not want people out in groups protesting on the streets in numbers and in force. Not good for the ptb.

This way, everyones a winners - except the mass of the population.

O kinnel I really do despair yknow - its so easy!

Anyone watch the BBC 9/11 documentary last night? Same one from a few years ago.

Interesting stuff. Some people still 100% sure theres a conspiracy while completely ignoring blatent facts.

The silliest one, and the one with the most legs, is that a passenger jet didn't hit the Pentagon, as per Dylan Avery's main point in Loose Change. I find it funny that he makes no mention that LOTS of eyewitnesses, random members of the public, saw the plane crash into the Pentagon. Its literally the pits when it comes to documentray film making, quote mining, mis-quoting, ignoring proven evidence etc. Yet people still believe it?

I'm starting to think that the holy texts might not be as holy as they claim to be ; for example I'm thinking that Noah might not have built an ark, and if he did, it would be unlikely that he would have populated it with a penquin.

I've met some totally nutty JFK conspiracy theorists here in Dallas. Some local nutjobs i befriended took me on a "JFK assassination" tour the other day, taking in the presidential route, book depository, grassy knoll, oswald's house, Ruby's house, texas theatre etc while giving the conspiracy theorist rhetoric ... was quite interesting to be fair. They then showed me this video later, never heard of it before. 1967 documentary called "Rush for Judgement" shot after the Warren commision with interviews from most of the major eye witnesses. Its hilariously dated but its actually a totally fascinating and a brilliant piece of historical film making. Almost all these people are dead now and a lot of them long gone so these are some of the only interviews with them. Really is well worth a watch, (even if its just for the interview with the club pianist at about 1hr20)

I'd LOVE to do that tour. If Im ever anywhere near Texas Ill make sure that happens. Right up there on my "to do list".

Cool, Ill check that out later. I've read the book. "The original conspiracy theory" they say. Interesting stuff because as you said, most of the people interviewed are dead now.

Conspiracy theorists will say they've all be murdered.

I've been down to Dealey Plaza a few times and it is in no way an anti-climax. I'm quite into my JFK conspiracy and the importance of the event and its magnitude in history really does smack you square in the face when you're there looking up at the book depository and standing behind the picket fence. I love going down there. If you're into it then its definitely a cool thing to go to. Suprised how much smaller Dealey Plaza is in real life to what it looks on films and documentaries though. The picket fence is no more than 10m from the head shot, always thought it was more spread out.

I find the JFK assassination fascinating on so many levels. Not only because a president was killed but also due to the fact that so many people (not just Americans) think someone else did it, sifting through the conflicting evidence is fascinating (and annoying).

It was right in the middle of the civil rights movement too, when it was gaining a lot of momentum. The March on Washington was less than two months before the assassination.

Oswald is a very interesting character.

But the main point of interest for me is the effect it had on the culture of the world. Would there have been Vietnam as we know it? Would there have been Nixon? Would Hendrix have played the Star Spangled Banner at Woodstock? Would there have been a hippy movement as we know it or would it have been more of an updated beatnik movement etc etc? Did it put an end to political ignorance and acceptance from the public?

Its also interesting from a political history viewpoint. CIA, Mafia, Castro, Russia – their relationships with America at the time etc. And being Irish, its amazing that the Kennedys went from fresh-off-the-boat immigrants with only the clothes on their back in the mid 1800s to the most powerful family in the country (world?) a mere 3 generations later.

Id love to just stand in the position below and run through the events in my head. Listen to the radio recording of the assassination etc. A haunting place Id say. All due to some punk 24 year old who fired 3 gunshots.

"it... it... it appears as though something has happened in the motorcade route. Something, I repeat, has happened in the motorcade route."

SPOILER ALERT. His brain gets spoiled here.

Totally, the historical significance of that event can't be chartered, and the back story behind it all is also fascinating. You can't write fiction like that.

i've done the Zapruder role play for myself and you're right, it is haunting.

So you think Oswald, on his own, from the book depository? I'm not going to speculate how far the conspiracy stretches, but I find it very difficult to believe, especially after watching the witness statements in that film I posted, that he acted alone, if he was a shooter at all.

I have been to the JFK place and the window is indeed glassed off like Bill Hicks said, probably to stop tourists going over to the window, looking at the road with the White X marked where he was shot and saying "There's no f**king way!"

The angle makes no sense - the motorcade would have approached the window for a few seconds before driving away. This meant Oswald had a straight shot at Kennedys face for ages but waited until it turned a corner and started strafing across his line of vision before taking the shot. Not buying it. Also the shot from the window would have hurled his head forwards on impact.

The shot from the grassy knoll would have sent it backwards. The grassy knoll (it's just a corner edge of a car park with a White picket fence) is where you would stand to take him out from where he was taken out.

There's also too many gaps in the timeline which didn't add up. Having been there and seen it all I would definitely say I smelt a whole heap of bullshit.

Which way does his head go in the footage?

Which way does his head go in the footage?

Forward two inches (the amount of time it takes the bullet to pass through his head) and then back and to the left after it exits. Caused by the outward momentum of the bullet/explosion. Kind off like a jet taking off. Defo some sort of muscle/spinal spasm too and also Jackie pulled his arm at the same time.

Good article about it here. here. And a horrendous animated gif! :O

It's the number of witnesses saying they thought the shot came from the picket fence, (as that docu shows) together with the speed of the shots, especially the second and third, that intrigues me.

Lots of people heard shots from behind too though and a couple of people saw Oswald. Two guys on the floor looking out the window below saw felt dust fall on them and heard the shots, Oswald reloading etc.

Also, Oswald was a good shot. He was a marksman. The 2nd and 3rd shots were crackers to be fair to him.

The jack ruby part adds a whole new dimension as well. In my mind that confirms to me that there was a conspiracy of some sort.

He was a loud mouth club owner. Theres no way he could've been part of a conspiracy they say. He just couldnt keep his mouth shut. Also, the evidence of his movement the day he killed Oswald means he couldn't have planned to kill him.

And anyway, if he was part of a conspiracy, then why didn't someone kill him? And then kill that killer and so on?

This is a great documentary. Single bullet theory proven here.

I love all the JFK stuff and have visited the JFK library and museum near Boston, it is fascinating.

I'd really love to go to Dealey Plaza though. My work has an office in Houston and if I can wangle a trip over then I'd definitely try and leg it up to Dallas for a visit.

I once read a book by somebody who claimed to analyse the direction of the shots, and ended up blaming one of JFK's bodyguards behind the car for accidentally letting off the fatal shot during the ensuing panic after the intitial shots were fired. Said security guard didn't deny it when approached, he just shut the door on the author and didn't want to talk about it.

We're supposed to be getting more files released on this sometime in the future? I'd certainly hope there was a conspiracy.

Oliver Stone's film makes some ridiculous assumptions but its an amazing piece of film making. I could sit through the full 3 hours any day of the week.
