really cant see franz in the tent as they would be clashing with another indie type band so would have a similar fanbase and normally they like to have variation on the stages to give people a choice,

I emailed The Subways and The Cribs management folk and they got back yesterday saying The Subways won't be playing R+L as they are spending most of the summer writing a new album and The Cribs are playing no festivals as they are doing the same but they are touring in September/October.

Rock AM Ring in June

Greenfield in June

Frequency in August [the week before Reading and Leeds]

so if they're playing a fest in Europe the week before they could surely play R&L if they wanted to

to make the leap from strong rumour to a TBC takes more than merely a presumption, however much that presumption might later be proved right. Bands only get marked as TBC due to information, not guesses.
