For no particular reason I wanted to say that the rain has been so heavy it has woken me up for the last 2 morning and it has planted a sense of dread in my soul!

To make matters worse the roof seems to be leaking so I could hear a steady drip drip onto the top of my wardrobe! I actually think my tent is more watertight that my house!

Anyway - I too am hoping that this weather is now "out of the way" bacause this weekend has reminded me (as if I needed it) how bloody horrible that rain thing can be!

TBH is doesn't look especially good right now. Still time for change however. Watched Countryfile farmers forcast on Sunday - massive, slow moving - nay, even stable Low Pressure system dominating the SW Atlantic over Azores exactly where there should normally be a massive High Pressure system building at this time of year to push the Atlantic depressions further North and away from us. Instead stormy unsettled weather is being towed in by the low pressure winds going in the opposite direction from the Channel and coast of France. Arghh!

Last year was cold. Temperatures were more like April than June, and it was very wet Thursday afternoon through to evening.

It was ok being mostly dry, but a bit of warmth would be more than welcome this year

    • When it comes to legacy alternative acts I hope they bring the Afghan Whigs. Those newly released songs are incredible and classic Whigs sound
    • We’ve a friend  who has hens and sells eggs for two quid for six. So much tastier than supermarket ones. She has an honesty box outside her house and has now expanded into selling them to hotels and the local butchers shop. Quite a decent wee business
    • Curiously a rumour has turned up that Barcelona are now interested in Rodri. So could make Real Madrid and Man City are suddenly both in need of a central midfielder.    ... Assuming this move to Arsenal for Bruno Guimaraes ends up being processed before those two may need to enter the conversation.
    • I think Thunderbolts probably had one of the more interesting villains for an MCU movie. I was actually a bit creeped out by Void. I'm a massive horror movie fan, and I can't think of another time in the last couple of years where a character legit scared me like he did.    Brand New Day was a good time. A great villain choice as it played into Parker's insecurities. Castle was a strange inclusion but the dynamic between him and Parker was great. Castle must have been delighted to have someone who never seen themselves as superior to him like Murdoch pretty much always did.
    • Certainly the fact Bruce had disasters at West Brom and Blackpool has hurt his chances. Maybe he'll go mentor his son now he's a manager at Rotherham.    Maybe the passive aggressive comment about Howe being "that fella who got Bournemouth relegated" also counts as it's own comment that aged very poorly.
