zahidf
' Is there one dream headliner that you'd love to book for a future Glastonbury? I've always really wanted Neil Young, which would be amazing. At some point that would be really cool. Neil Young is the one who every year people say, "Who do you want?" and I say him. At some point in the next 10 years I hope we get him.' Does this mean he's not playing now?...

sdaveak47
Looking like vampire weekend will be back too looking by her comments, so that's got to be one to be added to the rumours list
SeanJD
Not looking good for a Neil Young appearance, I'd say. I see U2's new album out soon. Chances of them appearing?

Josie's Cat
Tom Jones on the "rumour mill" ! Can't think of him without thinking of the episode of The Simpsons where he is held hostage by Mr Burns and made to sing for Marge! I have also heard of this "hot summer" apparently something to do with el Nina and the lack of el Nino - I hope it's true. How old does Neil Young look in the pic? I'd be surprised if he lasts the next 10 years, so Emily had better snap him up sooner rather than later if she really wants him to play! Messy
Aye, would like to see him replaced. Fingers crossed for Orbital!
strudders
Surely if Neil were to be replaced it would merely be Kaiser Chiefs bumped up one? Anyway, I reckon 11/12 of those rumours are true and Madge is the curveball. I enjoyed that little 'orange' jibe about Tom Jones, laughed quite hard at that one. zahidf
Maybe not, still early days and plenty of time to juggle things around. If it is true about Madge I can see her doing the headline spot.
Joshuwarr
" Rumours are that The Specials may play... At the moment we can't talk about anything, I'm afraid..." If they weren't she would just say no surely?

Homer
For what it's worth on the NY front, Virtual Festivals have Coldplay, BS and Blur as the headliners...

Bradders
I've been told by a friend of the Kaiser Chiefs that they were offered a slot before Neil Young. So I'm pretty sure he's headlining.
