  1. Enjoying it but nothing wow about it. I don’t really like the songs with guests on them, well not like but don’t really see the point. Matt is singing pretty much all of the time with the guest vocalist so can barely hear them. Apart from the Taylor Swift one if I didn’t know who was singing on it I wouldn’t ’t be able to tell from the vocals
  2. I'm still undecided if I'm going to see him. Like most people I know his hits but don't think I've ever put his music on to listen to. It will be rammed so might take that opportunity to take the kids to see Arcadia in the dark, they've been going on about see the spider on fire since last year
  3. I think that is going to be the way going forward isn't it. Make the most of it while you're there since you won't know when you will be back again.
  4. This would massively change the dynamic of the festival. I don't think I could justify paying £1400 for my family to go to the festival, wife and 3 and 5 year olds and I'm sure there would be a lot of other families in the same boat.
  5. Doesn’t bode well for next year if they use this system
  6. My wife has purchased some funky fabric to make us all matching clothes. Shirts for me and my 3 year old boy and dresses for her and my 5 year old girl. They are having Pom poms as well, debating whether to get some on mine
  7. Is this a self confirmation?
  8. They do look bright from what I’ve seen. What is the battery life like? Will probably frame the pram a few times so will need quite a bit. Some people say they hum, is it loud?
  9. Going to start getting my bike trailer pimped up soon. Last year I used a old tent pole about 2 metres high which I wrapped lots of multi coloured lights around. being a tent pole I kept it down during the day then as it got dark put it up and turned the lights on. Worked great for people to see we we coming and also easy for us to spot if we went to the bar. I also wrapped some lights around the side of the trailer but one of the kids got their foot stuck on it and snapped it on the first day so had no more lights. This year I'm thinking of E-wire which looks really good, anyone used this before?
  10. I've never had an issue getting the tent back into a F&B bag, they definitely are bigger than any other tent bags
  11. https://www.toolden.co.uk/accessories/batteries-chargers/chargers/makita-adp05-usb-charging-lxt-li-on-battery-adapter/?gclid=Cj0KCQiAjbagBhD3ARIsANRrqEtPNCDmPPqB5oZnvd7tGrK88Vtm3n0T2zcvaJ7Ka9n6zTI6vfuh07UaAgrrEALw_wcB This is brilliant instead of buying a powerful battery pack for anyone who has a drill. Your drill batteries are very powerful and this device you can use that power to charge your phone.
  12. I see this more of a safety precaution than we don't think its right kids are allowed in the area late with drinking and drug taking happening. A lot of us have been in the SEC caught up in a crush and it's scary for adults never mind children. Even if the kids are asleep in a pram all it takes is for a crush to happen and someone taking a tumble onto the pram. Imagine the outcry if a child got hurt, the media would be all over it and it would have severe consequences for the license

    Editors

Did I dream it or did someone post on here last night saying they were at an Editors gig and Tom said they are headlining John Peel on the Sunday
  14. Don’t bother. Axls voice is shot
  15. 20000 people on site dressing up like Jarvis Cocker
  16. Happy Christmas everyone. Why are my 3 and 5 year olds still fast asleep but I’m wide awake at 6am. On the sprout topic I cut mine in half and pan fry dry on a high heat for a few minutes until they start to caramelise. Add a splash of balsamic vinegar and salt and serve, taste amazing
  17. Boring to you. The Artics are still massive and very popular
  18. I wonder how many people will forgo big holidays abroad for the next few years but do things here instead including festivals and gigs. We were considering going abroad next year but with 2 kids it will be 2-3 grand so if we did it would have been no Glastonbury. We decided against it with having to re mortgage next year but will still go to Glastonbury and that will be our main holiday next year. Hopefully we will get the weather like we are abroad.
  19. Demand could be 200000, 1 million or 10 million it doesn't really make much difference to how long it takes to sell out. As long as demand is higher than number of tickets available it will sell out within 30 mins ish. Obviously this year with the technical issues it was longer
  20. Croozer bike trailer all the way. Had a 2 and 4 year old in this year and will use it again next year. I got mine second hand off Facebook for £100, there are lots on there so should be one near you to buy. They are really good quality and so easy to push. Had the kids, 24 cans of cider and 2 tents on it on the way in and was still easy to push
  21. The Prodigy will get a very big crowd I would think. The crowd was pretty big against Blur and since they've been away a while and the sad passing of Keith I think a lot of people will be up for it.
