One year our bus broke down at the services on the way so one of the buses that had just dropped off at site came back for us. The first bus driver was a hard no on drinking, no music, nothing. When we got onto the new bus before we set off the driver stood at the front and said 'I've got a special announcement to make. The is the Glastonbury bus so everyone get your drinks out and I will blast out the music' Cheered everyone right up since we were all thinking we were going to be there for ages.

I'm thinking Queens over Elton now. Listened to the new album a few times and really like it and since I will have the kids I know Elton is going to be rammed so will be easier at the Queens. Think Mr Grohl will hang around to make an appearance?

I had an afternoon nap on the Friday or Saturday in the tent for a couple of hours. Woke up and thought it must be raining and my tent had leaked with all the water in there. Nope, just me losing a stone in sweat

I know there is a lot of love and hate for brothers but has anyone had the Brothers apple from a can before? £7.99 for 10 cans is ok price but if it tastes rank will go with something else.

Was talking to someone the other day about Glastonbury and they said if you could make 1 major change what would it be. I first thought it being closer to my home would be good rather than a 5 hour journey. However the farm just works perfectly with the Tor in the distance and the festival being in the valley and even though it is a pain to get there the journey is part of the experience. Getting snacks together and the playlist sorted is fun. I decided on when the festival takes place would be my major change. If the festival was end of July or August I think that would work better for me. The festival is my major holiday of the year so having it so early leaves the summer holidays drawn out and now I have the kids wouldn't have problems bringing them out of school. What 1 major change would you make?

Just take some bin bags and rip along the side and end and open it up. Got a big waterproof matt to sit on and you can fold it up so the mud stays on the inside and put it in your bag for next time, takes up very little space. Obviously if its chucking it down this isn't going to work but after its stopped raining this is perfect. If the ground is a bit soft it even moulds to your shape of your buttocks

Think they will change the line up to FF now?

Temperature doesn't matter. All that matters is NFRNFC. Wear long sleeves, wear a jumper, wear a woolly hat at night time, have a hot and spicy cider. As long as we don't have to wear waterproofs and can sit on the floor that's all we really need

My take on it is Pulp. This will be the last tour and I think most people thought they were nailed on to play but then they weren’t on the poster so a secret set makes sense. I’m not a massive foo fighter fan but they are one of the biggest bands in the world and to have them on to be followed by other bands doesn’t sit right with me. I don’t know how much say Arctics will have on who plays but I wouldn’t be happy to have to follow the foos. Will be like when Hendrix came to England and they got him to play before Clapton. Clapton rightly said how do you expect me to go on after that.

Why would Elbow do a secret set after playing last year, seems a bit pointless for them and the festival

I don’t know when we get the garments she’s made. The transformation challenge didn’t go to plan. I’m going to try and squeeze in it when it comes to prove Patrick wrong

It’s not going to be a secret up until whoever it is comes out is it, secrets come out before then. If it is the foo fighters that field will be rammed at that time of the day

It’s only an hour and a quarter. Foos would only be able to play 4 or 5 songs with Dave talking for most of the set

Was ecstatic with the Pulp announcement. This talk of the Foos has put a right dampener on it.

Only seen them once and that was the farm. Not really an Elton fan so there’s a good chance I will be there
