  8. I guess it’s cheating on a charity comp that is leaving people with a bitter taste?
  9. Yesterday
  10. Hello, I hope you appreciate feedback. I went to do the survey and two things happened; (1) I noticed that the first question still asks 'personal' questions relating to fact of the respondee. Once again this makes one edgy, and reluctant to respond. What's screaming out at me is that there simply must be another way of identifying people other than to ask them factual personal stuff. Worth a further look into I would say. (2) Despite the above I thought 'f**k it, I'm going to proceed beyond the identifying point. Unfortunately I then discovered that as I hadn't attended an event, I wasn't eligible to go further. Im thoroughly OK with that as I know that I was never going to be the target market. I was just doing it to help really. Just wondering, have you posted your question on other festival forums, websites, interest groups etc? I suspect that you have but if not you will obviously broaden your catchment area by doing so. It may even be a thing whereby you could join an acts fan club and ask there. or any forum dedicated to eg dance music etc. I don't actually know of other sites as this is only one of two forums that I go on, and neither is in any way related to the other. All the best.
  11. Everyone on Reddit loving tattoo 2 even knowing it's AI , some people even giving him props
  12. And all the grief I got over Arcade Fire earlier on in the thread. Give me Win Butler over that Toe Rag any day of the week.
  13. can certainly live without The Archer or Tolerate It, but Tis The Damn Season and Long Live being removed while Look What You Made Me Do, Karma, You Need To Calm Down and Bad Blood remain is just baffling . . . The real villain remains All Too Well taking up the space of three songs rather than one, but by this point I’ve made my peace with that.
  14. Billie Eilish 2025 looking like a good shout
  15. We get spoiled for shows here in nyc. (nice to see another new yorker on here) I love the lineup this year, but the thing for me is that as far as my tastes go, there are no surprises. Everyone on the lineup that I love, I've seen - sometimes multiple times - because everyone plays nyc. And so it's a good opportunity for me to spend my time doing things other than watching bands, and checking out some new stuff I don't know that well. Rick Astley doing the Smiths was the best thing I saw at the whole festival last year. Such a surprise. Gonna be hard to top that, but I'm hoping for something, even if it's not to that scale.
  16. Long Live is the only one that really hurts.
  17. its certainly why they exist. and it always makes me laugh when opponents suggest that they should abandon their pursuit of independence. But then, it would appear, political parties abandoning their principles is OK with a lot of folk on here. I think all parties "adjust" their message to suit local views. Do you think Labour's campaign in Bradford will be the same as it is in Islington?
  18. This AI entry is wrong and should of course be cancelled but in pure Glastonbury ticket terms is a drop in the ocean compared to how many people also cheated by getting tickets using the DNS hosts hack. None of them got their tickets cancelled.
  19. @WheresMyTent @Festival Sounds Podcast Why don't you do a joint podcast and interview each other?
  20. cos they're already living on the votes of racists and bigots - always the core of nationalism., and stoked with some regular grievance mining (against their english betters. 😛 )
  21. One of those weird things I watched through lockdown. Every Sunday if I recollect!
  22. RIO My favourite Duran Duran track I think
  23. That’s so sad. You were the inspiration for ours so I hope you keep going! If you need anything just message!
  24. Isn’t their only principle nationalism? Lean left in certain areas of Scotland and more conservative in others to try and get to 50.1 percent?
