I agree, think it's too late for KOL or Arcade Fire to be announced (even though they have a massive gap in their schedule), so it's got to be The Killers or a wildcard like QOTSA, The Strokes

Just look at some earlier editions: 2009- Madness; 2011- Prince; 2012- New Order; 2013- Nick Cave.

Looking more and more likely now, I'm getting excited. Fingers crossed.

Good news is that after initial disappointment at seeing headlineram on instagram; they are co-headliners and not overall headliner.

Selfishly quite happy it's the XX as I'm not a fan of Kings Of Leon/The Killers... would've liked Arcade Fire though.

Are Phoenix big enough to co-headline? Haven't played since 2014 IIRC.

Oh no, I was hoping they would play Opener, but at the Tent Stage. I remember their last appearance when they played Main Stage at 00:00 in 2012 and that was completely dissapointing. They would perfectly fit the tent stage.

Well, I'm glad they announced Foo Fighters and Radiohead first, as I wouldn't have chosen to go to a festival if the only headliners I knew then were The XX and The Weeknd!

I'm really hanging on to the co-headliner status. Hopefully Killers/Frank or someone of that size joins the xx, and not TDCC, Phoenix or Alt J

Okay; I've just noticed on the Open'er website, the polish version has removed 1 out of 2 co-headliner mentions (but 1 mention remains), while the English version says '...as another headliner!' and '...will headline the last day of Open’er'. Hmmm.

NME reported it as a co-headliner if that's anything to go on.

Given that there were problems with indicating who is and who is not a headliner in the past, e.g. when Phoenix were announced as a main act for Saturday in 2014 (there were even big billboards with several cities with Phoenix on the top of the poster) and then, in May, they announced Faith No More as a headliner for the same day, it is no surprising at all that there are several version of whether The XX are headlining or not. When it comes to the communication with festival goers, Open’er has still a lot of work to do.

There have some technical issues as far as I know, there was some announcement on the website that they are changing servers or something like that.

I think there was some profile on last.fm but there was nothing going on and I can't even find it now. Hopefully, they will handle all their problems as it was the only site where you could have a substantive discussion regarding Open'er (and not only ;)).

The Killers are in Sweden on the Saturday, so they won't be co-headlining with the xx.

Anyone who's been alert since the first announcement know how often they get announced? I'm aware that they are named individually, but how frequent?
