Isle of Wight Festival 2017

Recommended Posts

Lets see how many will buy tickets now rather than waiting to see if it gets cancelled later. I know if I was in any way interested in the festival I would wait.

King Of Leon
Kaiser Chiefs
The Killers

That's my guess for the headliners, should it go ahead.

If KOL do it.....again, then I don't see a BST date.

It's going to be either BST or IoW surely, time will tell.

Yes, IOW in 11, 14 and 17 would be a lot though.

3 years is a large enough gap, wouldn't be an inspired booking but i'm sure it'd shift tickets.

Stone Roses, Phil Collins, some ridiculous co-headliner combo

KOL maybe? Plus something smaller on the Friday night. Chase and status/Alt J co headline?

Gorillaz/James (which I have honestly heard a couple of times now), The Stone Roses and Lady Gaga.

If they booked Maiden, think they'd get a lot of punters - no South coast dates on their tour, yet four between Nottingham, Manchester, Sheffield and Leeds.

Gorrilaz/James sounds good. Could see the Stone Roses being quite a draw. Aren't Snow Patrol on the way back soon too?

TDCC + Chemical Brothers

Royal Blood / Artic Monkeys (or Oasis Reunion???)

James / Guns & Roses

If John can afford this after last year ...

The chances of an Oasis reunion are V V slim!

Oasis reunion isn't happening, if it did it'd be their own shows or possibly Glastonbury, IoW wouldn't have a chance. Guns N Roses are probably too expensive for IoW now.

Stone Roses do seem like a possibility now. Although i'd say they're just as likely to end up at R&L.

A day ticket at Leeds would tempt for GNR at £60 given I could find a few more bands to see, not a chance I see of it happening though,

If they can play at TITP they can easily play at Reading and Leeds.
