H.M.V
He kept me company on the radio on many a dreary morning going to work. I have been in tears laughing to some of his stories especially the Janet and John ones. I used to look at other people in cars to see if they were laughing as well and sometimes they were. Sad loss. jimmyt
Can we organise a mass Floral Dance at the Acoustic Tent as a tribute? And then a Dance Floral (Terry in the Jungle) in Silver Hayes? I hate this month.

oneeye
I loved the floral dance; childhood memories. RIP TW; top bloke. Just thought I'd also give a quick mention to another sad loss here today in Devon, local BBC Radio Devon presenter Tony Beard; legend. Off to see my dad in a mo to check he's ok; he's approaching 80. These things can affect......

H.M.V
Rupert, Sebb and Donald still being with us makes me wonder if we are in fact in hell and Tel et al have just escaped.

willutalk
Ahh. Poor Terry! Loved some of his work, especially his drunken Eurovision commentary, which was was hilarious! (Eurovision is one of my guilty pleasures) Someone who impressed me with his ability to the end. Another one bites the dust. pie_and_a_pint
Horrible news. What a lovely man he was. I'm a huge Eurovision fan have many happy memories of his acerbic and hilarious booze-fuelled commentary. He'll be sadly missed by many.
