Taker v HHH was a classic, having seen it twice it was every bit as good the second time around, but I was glued, totally glued throughout live, I can't say what hasn't been said, great story, drama, Shawn added greatly to the match, it was just perfect. Often I watch these things and think why did they do that, Id have booked it like this, but that match was just perfect.

Yeah. He wasn't even seen until the build up. Hes fucked. More injuries than you can name. Like any wrestler in his 40s. But he still has one match a year in him.

Undertaker is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and apparently his ground skills are superb so could actually be a great match!

Dana White from UFC a few years ago - "This guy is amazing on the ground, I’ve seen him roll before and let me tell you his skill level is fucking amazing. We would be happy to have him in the UFC, actually we are currently in talks and if everything goes to plan, expect to see him in the UFC by June of next year"

I don't know whether to  or :( about the idea of taker in UFC. I'm not expert on MMA, but a 47yr guy with as many existing injuries as him would be taking an expressway to a wheelchair (or worse), no matter his skill level, right?

Really not sure what is going to happen with Taker next year but I don't think that is him retired. If Taker goes up against Brock then where does that leave Cena? They won't do Cena/Rock again. IF they decide to do Cena/Taker then that would three years in a row that Cena has lost at WrestleMania.

Just hope Lesnar has a good run and decides to stick around longer, I think he will. What else is he going to do?

A 5 minute Hulk Hogan interview is being shown by BBC News on the tv in the pub. It drew a 'Hogan, Hogan, Hogan....' chant. Austin, Rock, Cena, Flair... he's streets ahead of them all. Fact.

Edit; Dana White may not bring in bums, but he'd bring in a superstar professional wrestler without a second thought. Taker, Angle, Joe, Punk, Cena, Swagger, whoever- they'd draw. Amd that's ultimately what matters.

Public recognition.

No idea what he was saying, it was on mute. It was one of a number of 5 minute interviews getting shown. Based on his attire, I'm pretty sure it was shot when TNA were over earlier in the year.

Also D Bryan vs Sheumus 2 out 3 falls for extreme rules, it's turning out to be a good ppv card because I'm also looking forward for Brock vs Cena

    • Fontaines getting the honour of the last ever BBC Maida Vale session going out on 6 Music shortly.   No Glastonbury relevance (for now.. ), just thought I'd mention it for those who are interested 😎
    • Had a wonderful booking in one of our primary woodland venues this weekend. A 30th birthday arranged by a load of musicians and entertainment industry professionals. It was primarily a folk oriented event, however I noticed one young woman who didn’t seem to fit dress and appearance wise. Turned out to be Frenetic, one of the top up and coming UK Jungle and DnB DJ’s.    Anyway Saturday night turned into an EDM session and I got to do a set. Slightly nervous considering who was there, it was great and Frenetic loved my set. She’s closing Data Mine at Shambala this year.
    • they got lucky and the thunderstorms stayed away. It was still wet of course. Some of those boot sucking puddles did emerge from what a couple friends saw who were there.  Post fest aerial also below   and also a sapphic mud wrestling contest?
    • It's even less funny when in real life too...   Liddle met Rachel Royce and the couple soon became romantically involved.[84] In January 2004 the couple married at a ceremony in Malaysia. They had been living in Heytesbury, Wiltshire, and had two sons together. Six months later, Liddle moved in with Alicia Monckton, a 22-year-old receptionist at The Spectator. It transpired that he had cut short his honeymoon with Royce so that he could be with Monckton. Following their divorce, Liddle and Royce exchanged attacks in the media. Liddle called her a "total slut and slattern"
