In fairness Raw was pretty good this week. Even with Austin being more "Steve Austin" than "Stone Cold".

I really liked the end of the show, as predictable as it was that Bret was faking having Austin distract Mcmahon while he took off the cast was like a flashback to the old days...

The matches were pretty decent too, even the divas match was mildly entertaining!

Honestly I just really would like too see Anderson vs Angle and MCMG vs Generation Me in Ultimate X!

Shawn Michaels has been telling friends as of late he plans on retiring at WrestleMania. His contract is set to expire soon and he has talked about wanting to spend more time with his children as they grow up.

Michaels himself has made noise about retiring in recent years, to the point that WWE actually scripted jokes about it on Raw. After taking time off in 2008, he made noise about deciding not to come back. Like previous times he'd taken time off, WWE would call him back to return and he would. He also said in a radio interview last year that he had told the company his retirement date (which at the time was this year's WrestleMania). On the other hand, he's brought up the idea of wrestling well into his fifties, though only a match or two per year.

Michaels is not advertised for any shows past the night after WrestleMania when Raw emanates from the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

I remember reading an interview with Michaels about 3 years into his hiatus saying how proud he was that he was the only major wrestler ever to retire and stay retired.

Wouldn't pay much attention to these reports.

I expect Michaels to lose to Undertaker and be gone for a while afterwards, but I doubt it will be his last ever match. If we see him wrestling before Wrestlemania 27 I'll be surprised. I think Michaels would like the Ric Flair treatment when his retirement finally comes around (Hall of Fame induction at the same time and all that) and he anyone deserves it it's him

I'll probably change my mind a whole load of times before the big show but this is what I'm thinking right now

One thing I've been thinking about is Money In The Bank. This is more than likely the final Wrestlemania that will include a MitB match because they're going to start doing a special MitB ppv later in the year. And the only thing they havn't done with the suitcase is have someone win it and cash it in at the same mania. Could this be the year?

Forgive me "fantasy booking" here... but the dream scenario would be something like Jericho fluke pinning Edge; Edge distraught in the corner; Jericho tired but lording it up in the middle of the ring; Christian comes down the ramp after winning the MitB match earlier in the night, Kill Switch and the pin, new champion, stare down between Edge & Christian... and then either a E or a C heel turn, or a hand shake and a celebration. I'd go absolutley spare.

Would set up a pretty awesome thriple threat at Extreme Rules (which replaces Backlash) between Edge, Christian & Jerricho.

Wishfull thinking though... as MitB pretty obviously going to Drew McIntyre.

only trouble is i dont watch enough of it any more (still watch the big PPV's) but have no idea which show has the better talent.

raw has orton, big show, hhh, cena, hbk but he's supposedly taking some time off.

Same as you though mate, ppvs are good to watch but raw's really shite at the moment, not watched smackdown recently.

The way how he kept saying TNA have missed their chance, TNA didn't even make me an offer, TNA should have made me an offer, I kinda get the feeling he might be saying this to get TNA to make him an offer.

Goldberg back in WWE just doesn't seem right to me. I don't see how he would fit in, and surely he would only work TV.

I think he might fit in on Smackdown though perhaps, but no doubt he would be on RAW
