Just watching the starcade essential collecting, brilliant stuff. reminds me of how much I adored WCW.

Looking forward to NXT tbh, think that its something a bit different and kudos to wwe for teying something new.

I may be in the minority but I like the Miz and Danielson pairing, a feud for raw when the show finishes with Danielson going over the Miz.

Also Miz has responded in kayfabe to the criticisms over the pairing

Mentoring Daniel Bryan on WWE NXT

There has been a lot of controversy this week about me mentoring Daniel Bryan on WWE's new show, WWE NXT.

I've read a lot of interviews, blogs, ect. about the matter and they all seem to be asking the same thing. "Why is The Miz mentoring Daniel Bryan when Daniel Bryan has wrestled all over the world for 10 years plus?"

It's come to my knowledge that some members of the WWE Universe think they know everything about WWE and what it takes to be a WWE Superstar. They think that if a guy does well in the independent minor leagues, then all of a sudden he should be in the WWE.

They think that if a guy can main event in front of a hundred people at a bingo hall, then he's ready to main event at WrestleMania. Just because fans on the Internet say you’re ready doesn't mean you really are.

Just because a fat guy with no teeth who sits in the front row, buys your T-shirt and says you're the king of wrestling, doesn't mean you really are.

What the WWE Universe doesn't understand is there is so much more then I can describe in a single blog involved in being successful in the WWE.

My job is to make Daniel Bryan a star in the WWE, because let's face it, if you look at a picture of him right now, do you think STAR?

No, Daniel Bryan looks like my accountant ... ordinary and bland.

Maybe if he had The Miz's charisma and look, he would have been in the WWE by now. Don't hate on me because it didn't take me a decade to get a WWE contract and go down in WWE history to be the first Superstar to win the United States Title and Unified Tag Team Titles.

Don't get me wrong, Daniel Bryan has all the talent in the world, but every wrestler has weaknesses. And that's what my job is, to find his weakness and make him the biggest star possible.

I just hope Daniel Bryan doesn't believe himself what these ignorant members of the WWE Universe believe about him, or WWE NXT is going to be a nightmare for him.

MIZ

Fued set up before it start brilliant, and Danielson can only raise the Miz in ring.

thoughts on the elimination chamber? just read the results, not great going into wrestlemania. Also undertaker almost went up in flames last night due to a malfunction with the pyros!

anyone find a good stream for last night? seems wwe are really cracking down on them, could only find two on justintv and both were awful, the one on my usual place was fantastic for the first chamber match, but then got shut down so i gave up and when to sleep.

I might watch it when I get in from work, I forgot it was on tbh!

I've read the results. The two chamber matches sound worth watching.

Oh and on the subject of The Miz/Danielson thing, its more about developing a personality than it is wrestling ability

WWE made some releases yesterday

Helms - so obvously gunna go TNA, [especially as his mrs Velvet Sky is there]

Maria - Says she gunna work on her singing career, so could be the end of wrestling for her

Paul Burchell - TNA should snap him up, excellent worker, who was UTTERLY wasted in WWE.

Kendrick is in TNA as well by the way

I thought Helms would go to TNA cus his mrs is there and thus thats a reason why he might want to go there, to spend more time with her.

Burchell, could join the British Invasion yes, and them not over? I think they are, and they're not wasted either the Invasion in the last six months have won the IWGP Tag Titles, TNA Tag Titles, X Division Title and Global Title, the only title they haven't won is the World title

Another release today

One a long time coming

Ain't he??? I thought they'd been together for years and still together. Shame for Helms.

To be honest Helms has been working for WCW a few years and at least 10 years in WWE, including two years of those paid whislt he was injured so he didn't have to pay flights, hotel fees etc, so I imagine he's saved quite a fair bit. Im sure he could have saved enough to retire

So Chavo is last man WCW man standing. Who would have predicted that 9 years ago?

I'm a bit bored of WWE at the moment (although I watched NXT last week and that looks great), can anyone give me some good reasons to give TNA a shot? I've seen bits of ppvs on Bravo now and again, and it all looks a little amaterish and nothing really seems hyped up enough for anyone to care. Has that changed at all?

I love Impact at the moment, Abyss is finally not a pussy anymore and is being pushed alongside Wolfe, The Pope and AJ in a great story with Hogan and Flair giving the rub.

The Pope is just great, closest thing I reckon we've seen to the Rock, but he feels fresh not a rehash.

I watched WWE experence today and it was just dull man. Shame, I want both shows to be ace

Lookin at the WM matches I think the card looks good so far.

Jericho Vs Edge

Batista Vs Cena

HBK Vs Undertaker

HHH vs Sheamus

MITB

Punk vs Rey (Hair vs Mask)

3 way Dance Orton, Di'Base and Rhodes

Hart vs McMahon

I'm quite looking forward to WrerstleMania already. Jericho vs. Edge, Batista vs. Cena, Michaels vs. Undertaker and Punk vs. Mysterio all have potential to be really good.

Money in the Bank seems a little underwhelming at the moment, I was really hoping Evan Bourne, John Morrison and Kofi Kingston would make it in there but with just one spot left there's not enough room for all of them.

What I am a little worried about is that there seems like there could be far too many matches so everything could get rushed. In addition to the rumoured match list above there will probably be a Tag Title match, a divas match and possibly an Intercontinental Title match. Seems like far too many matches to give everything the time it needs to me

Apparently the "Raw guest host" thing is coming to an end. They're going out with a bang though, Monday weeks final host will be Stone Cold :P

Good thing too. Some of them have been pretty f*cking bad (although I'm ashamed to admit I laughed out loud at the "why are you running your fingers through William Regals hair?" moment this week with Cheech and Chong, though the rest of the show was pretty dire)

It's a 4 hour show this year, rather than last years 3 hour.

4hours = 240mins

At a conservative estimate:

30+10 mins : HBK Vs Undertaker

20+10 mins : Jericho Vs Edge

20+10 mins : Batista Vs Cena

10+10 mins : HHH vs Sheamus

5+10 mins : Hart vs McMahon

15+10 mins : MITB

10+10 mins : Punk vs Rey (Hair vs Mask)

10+5 mins : 3 way Dance Orton, Di'Base and Rhodes

8+5 mins : Tag Match

8+5 mins : IC/US match

5+5 mins : Diva Match

Total: 141+90 = 231mins

Loads of time! :P

If only it were that easy :P
