Chris Kanyon, what a shame, a guy in the 90's who was a solid midcard wrestler in WCW, wasn't lost in the nWo, was under the mask as Mortis then had a whole fued with the Flock and Raven and Saturn 3 ways, resulted in some fantastic matches, later in WCW formed the stable the triple threat with DDP and Bam Bam Bigelow, and that was a grea stable I thought.

When he reached WCW, ws just buried by Vince and the influx of having too many wrestlers on the roster, was one of the ones to be cut and his whole gay real life came out and he never worked again cus no-one would book him. Shame totally ruined his career, obviously it all got too much for him, proof that in wrestling you cannot be gay, the boys just won't accept you.

RIP Chris.

What the f*ck Chris Kanyon is dead?

Oh man.

:P

RIP.

It's been about 10 years since I last gave a real shit about wrasslin'. Was about 2000 where it all started to go downhill and I switched off. Always remember Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania in 2000 being rather excellent, where it was Mankind/Cactus Jack and The Rock vs DX and the McMahons. Those were some good times. Wasn't 2002 when the big WCW buyout happened and it all went totally to shit? It's like it has never recoverred from the roster split and all that other shit that happened as a result. So many bad things have happened (Eddie Guererro, Mr Perfect, Chris Benoit all tragically dead among others while Hulk f*cking Hogan gets his own reality show, etc)

Tomko has said that TNA are trying to build Rob Terry into a Goldberg type charactrer. I thought that was what they were going for, thing is whilst Terry does have potential, he just doesn't give off the bad ass vibe that Goldberg had.

Needs some tweeking, but could see him becoming a big star in TNA, could end up being the biggest UK wrestler ever, who knows....

Watched Wrestlemania for the Irish contingent mainly. Liked the money in the bag ladder match. The HBK vs Taker match was superb though, as good as Ive seen in a long time (havent really been watching though), really well done from the two old pros. And what a career from HBK. Looks like hes really serious about retirement too.

    • My Orange car park ticket turned up today. The envelope looked like some kind of junk mail offering me a loan so I nearly didn't open it!
    • There is a bunch of TBC acts on Deftones day, according to APE insta. The obvious guesses are Fiddlehead, Nothing, Dynamite and Make Way, "Outbreak" artists playing the night before. The question is more about how are they are gonna fit in on three big stages.    is
    • SURELY Reel Big Fish will be here?
    • Sam Fender, Harry Styles, Sabrina Carpenter is a very bland set of headliners. Commercially successful and makes plenty of sense, but it wouldn't be very inspirising. That said I want a band like Green Day to headline so who am I to say what exciting is.
    • Potentially rogue shout here but could see Rebecca Black in the running for a mid-afternoon spot. I know most people still remember her for Friday but lately she’s been putting out a lot of fun pop bangers, think this could be a very fun booking!
