Honestly this looks pretty good. I mean i guess Robbie Williams is not really an orthodox booking for the festival but the other names looks very decent. And all of this for just 80 euro. I can definitely swallow Robbie Willams. For price/value this surely must be the best deal for the summer.

Also bear in mind you need to book a festival with pretty stiff competition. I mean if Nos Alive, Primavera, Paredes etc. i guess you need to be very creative. And again ..... 80 euros for a three day pass. Jeeeeez.

It’s still amazing value but for vast majority of people now it’s 100 euros.

This was on IDLES profile this morning.

It must have been a mistake. Maybe they have outed themselves and will be at the festival but were not officially announced yet because they are doing primavera porto in june.

It does looks possible when you look at the dates. Last one is 27 august in the UK. Around the same time Turnstile and Deftones playing there as well.

Also without a spanish date for the summer and with the same promoter i wonder if they do end up at Bilbao BBK tommorow.

Really don’t see how Idles would play two big festivals in Portugal… Surely just a facebook meta ads bug, especially when you consider the copy of the post

Blur played at both Kalorama and Primavera Porto in 2023. And was only announced after the Primavera date.

Prodigy played at both Kalorama and Vilar de Mouros also in 2023. So it is not impossible or unusual at all.

You’re absolutely right, forgot about those cases. Still think that was a meta ads bug, but no longer scratching the whole idea!

    • It was awful during Father John Misty and I was close to the front. People just shouting and laughing their f-ing heads off about nothing in particular and being louder than the bloody stage.
    • Other things I noted yesterday, away from the obvious…   Positives: - an extra water point towards the back left of the main stages has appeared, which I believe is new for this year (and was much needed) - handing out free ponchos was a good touch  - caroline were fantastic. I’d never been in the Auditori Rockdelux before, it’s a wonderful venue and a great venue if you fancy a more chilled out environment  Negatives: - the talkers. I know it’s always bad here (and most festivals nowadays) but f**k me people wouldn’t shut up yesterday. I wonder if it was partly as a result of people being at artists they had little interest in (due to rain limiting their options), although it wasn’t great during blood orange. We’ll be making an effort to get a spot nearer the front for anyone we particularly care about over the weekend  - not enough staff around (and the ones that are there are largely useless). Most other festivals have them everywhere and are happy to help
